Lindsay was very nice and very easy to communicate with. She responded quickly to emails and was easy to work with. The neighborhood is beautiful and close to all the great things that make north Tacoma so livable. The house was comfortable, especially the downstairs in the recent heat wave. Very comfortable bed and private bath. Bingo and Emma were amazing and entertaining house mates. Bingo is very personable and a bit of a clown, and a tease. He loved playing almost as much as any dog I've had. Emma, once she got over her shyness (which was fast), was also very loving and sweet. Both were easy to care for and fun to be around. The only reason I gave this four stars was because it had to be cut short - through no fault of Lindsay or the cats, and I had to change my plans to accommodate. That said, it was a nice sit and I recommend for anyone who loves cats and old Tacoma.
We had an amazing weekend in the Yorkshire Dales looking after Indi’s home and her gorgeous 7 ducks. We were lucky enough to meet Indi and her daughter the night before the sit to complete the handover. Indi was very friendly, generous and welcoming, she even lent us their car to drive for the weekend and offered us some of her amazing homemade vegan granola. The 7 ducks were a lot of fun to look after and very cute. Our favourite things to note about them was feather preening time in the pond, seeing them waddle over together at meal times and back into their shelter at night time. Indi’s communication in person and during the sit was fantastic, she even provided us a printed welcome guide and gave us lots of recommendations of places to see in the Dales. The area is amazing to explore, there is a waterfall a 10 minute drive away and plenty of hikes/cycle routes. Indi’s house is amazing. From her large open plan living room window there is a beautiful view of the green rolling hills and mountains in the backdrop. Would highly recommend this sit to anyone, Thanks again Indi!
We had a wonderful weekend taking care of the most loving animals ! All them were super cute, friendly and so loving , it was an absolute pleasure , the house was very comfortable with such a great vibe of a loving family, set in a great location with lovely trails from the house ! Thankyou Lucy for inviting us to your beautiful home, and trusting us with your gorgeous four legged family !
I feel so grateful I have crossed paths with Sonja and Crapule. Sonja is a wonderful person, very caring and super generous! She made me feel so welcomed since the very beginning , and she even offered her electric bike to me to move around the city which was an amazing experience. She also helped me a lot by letting me keep my stuff at her place after the sitting which made my trip way easier and lighter! About the beautiful Crapule; she is the most special frenchie I have ever met. She got my heart, and I do miss her so much! She will give you so much love and she will make you laugh a lot too . The most precious moments with her were our walks together. It made me so happy to see how much she wanted to explore and so hilarious how wild she runs! She is very friendly with other dogs and always happy to say hello to any human or dog. About the area, is just amazing, so peaceful, surrounded by the canal and beautiful bridge and very well connected by trams underground and buses. Many groceries shows near by and beautiful cafés. Thank you so much for trusting on me and for the beautiful time with Crapule who I will keep in my heart for ever! Funny enough, i felt so well looked after by Sonja and Crapule.
Myra and John were great and gave us detailed information about taking care of Rip, the fish and their home. Rip was a joy, lots of fun and very sweet. Their home and location are beautiful.
It was a delight to sit for Lisa and her sweet dog, Lilly. Lilly is a sweet gentle soul. My dog Buttercup loved cuddling up to Lilly for sure. Lisa's house is a modern lovely home, decorated to perfection, with a backdrop (backyard view) of a nature preserve. It honestly looked like a movie set ! The neighborhood was quiet, which was really nice. The neighbors were the friendliest I have encountered in my almost year of back to back house sits. Great walking trails and bike riding too. There is a community pool, which unfortunately was undergoing updating and maintenance when I was there, also tennis/paddle ball courts and a decent gym too. Lisa was super nice! I recommend this sit to anyone and would come back anytime!
