Tessa and Mike were the first people to accept us as housesitters on THS and were so nice to have us one night before the day we agreed to start the sit. They gave us all the instructions about Ralphie and the sit was really fine. We had all we needed to look after her and also had many facilities available to spend our time. Ralphie is very well behaved, but likes to have her own space, so just give her some time and she’ll come around. We surely recommend this sit. Thank you so much for having us, guys.
It was my pleasure to get to know all the lovely cats and to take care of them! The indoor cats did respect my sleep as they really let me sleep very well each night. Nala & Sheba are cute young sisters, who spend lot of time together. They adapt me at the first day and they are affectionate. Mr Tibbs was shy a couple days, but was always curious about me and wanted to connect. Giggless likes to have her own space in the kitchen, and she loves to be brushed. Snow is a stray cat who likes to stay at the yard and he gets a special meal. My duty was also to feed around 20 stray cats daily at the street front of the house. It was such an amazing and memorable experience, every time ♡ Erik and Di are very generous and lovely people, they have a big heart for cats, they are doing very valuable volunteering by taking care of stray cats! They are extremely welcoming and caring hosts. I had a lovely time with them before their travel. The villa was a spectacular place to stay, cozy, clean and walking distance from the beach.
I just spent 3 weeks in Sandvika at Zoë's cosy and ever so tidy home. I absolutely adored her 2 cats and learned quickly their habits. Zoë was an excellent pet owner, giving me very detailed guide before arriving to Sandvika. Sandvika is a lovely town in walking distance with a big mall and plenty of shops. I would not hesitate coming to hers again if asked. I higly recommend this pet- and housesit.
I had a great time house sitting for Leighton and taking care of Owain. 12 days in Berlin in the summer, great big flat, large and comfortable bed, a nice balcony with many flowers, a car, a bicycle and a lovely dog. What more can you ask for? A great sit and I can really recommend it. Communication with Leighton was optimal, he is friendly an welcoming. Owain is a lovely dog, so much love to give and I miss already his hugs. He is a very big dog, of course, 75 kg and he thinks, that he is walking you, so either you go with the flow, which can be quite entertaining or you need to be quite strong and patient. Every day I played ball with him in the lovely and large yard/garden. We had lots of fun!
Pet sitting for Lisa and her two pups Louie and Coco was quite the rewarding experience :) Both have colorful, adorable personalities and are overall easy to care for in a beautiful, modern home. I recommend WFH sitters as the pups love to lounge in the yard and adore attention and exercise/play. Louie is truly a rambunctious frenchie and one to keep an eye on as he is a true free spirit and loves to explore the outdoors ;P He is very cuddly, will sometimes ask you for your food (they have their own special treats!), and will demand to sleep between your legs if you like sleeping with pups :) He can walk for ages and loves to play tug of war with his sister. Coco is the sweetest pup and usually sticks by Louie's side. She will gladly lay across your lap or tummy for a nap when you're hanging out on the couch or in bed, and if she gets to sleep with you will likely find a way to cuddle right by your cheek overnight. She is the funniest frenchie as she'll pay no mind to you or Louie and will jump and crawl over either of you to get to where she's comfortable. Lisa's home has all the amenities you could need, and she was the most gracious, understanding, and communicative host even when adversities arose. I'm so glad I get to stay with them one more time before I go out of town. Thanks, Lisa!
I thoroughly enjoyed caring for Zeus and Zena. The dogs are sweet and easy to care for. More than anything, I enjoyed the endless views from this beautiful home. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.
