Michael was great with my pets. He took the dogs on really long walks and hikes. Michael showed up right when he promised and kept me informed about his progress (since we didn't overlap and I was nervous). He sent pictures throughout his stay and let me know if anything unusual happened with the pets - and then handled it all. He left the house tidy and in perfect condition. Also - since I've been home, several of my neighbors stopped by to let me know that he did a great job and went on regular long walks with the pets. They all think he deserves 5 stars!

Diana & John

We were very grateful for Diana and John for taking such good care of our Labrador and cat for six days. They gave lots of time to the dog each day, ensuring she had sufficient exercise and stimulation. The house was in great order when we arrived home and had been well looked after. They were easy to communicate with both before and during the housesit. We would highly recommend them.

Tracy came on her own as it was a short sit and her husband was working. We had a facetime call before and as she was in the area, Tracy had popped in to say hello beforehand. She arrived and left on time and as planned. Our dog Flora wasn't up for walking much but Tracy did get her out and played in the garden which was great. The house was really clean - better than we left it! I would recommend Tracy to anyone looking for a reliable house sitter!

We were extremely impressed with Charlotte and Gigi. Gave our precious dogs lots of walks and cuddles which is what they love. Sent us messages whilst away and pics to put us at ease on our holiday. Came back to 2 very happy dogs who’d obviously had a wonderful time with Charlotte and Gigi. Even our shy little border terrier took to them instantly. Joanna was an excellent pet sitter, she accepted our dates well in advance and remained in good communications until arriving. She provided photos of her and Theebie for the children and looked after the house too. We would definitely have Joanna back again if our dates suit in the future.

Prior to our hols Giuditta took the time to visit us to get to know Benson. It was a great opportunity to get to know each other and show the house and our dog’s habits! During our time away Giuditta was great at communicating and give us some news from home where things were going well. Benson was spoilt with nice walks, trips to the pub etc… Upon our return, in the early hours of the morning, we found a completely chilled Benson, almost surprised to see us! After a round of lovely greetings he went back to his bed while we were unloading the car. We got back to a pristine house! Time to say a massive THANK YOU to Giuditta for looking after our boy and our house in such a lovely way. We are very grateful and won’t hesitate to recommend Giuditta. Claire and Mark have just finished a sit for our 3 cats and we were extremely happy.  We came home to a spotless house and 3 Very chilled cats.  They have a calm manner which instantly put us at ease and we knew we’d made the right decision in our choice of sitters.

Instructions to let us know how the cats were whilst we were away were followed, as were the instructions of the watering of myriad plants both inside and out. Communication before and during the sit was also easy and Claire always came back to us in a timely manner.

Elsa is an experienced and professional house sitter. She is organized , punctual and constantly follows up with updates. My experience with previous house sitters has been one that is courteous , hence I will raise this point as I was not very pleased with the overall communication which I felt was passive aggressive and direct, a bit too much for my liking. It didn’t work for me and perhaps this style of communication works for others, however I did not particularly appreciate the feeling of being threatened by Elsa that she would quit the house sit for minor problems that could easily be fixed . The communication and demanding demeanour made me feel uneasy. 
This is a collective service , I am not offering a 5 star hotel stay , this is an exchangeable free service between both parties and I would expect a degree of understanding and patience . The demanding and threatening tone did not work well for me , perhaps you can tolerate this attitude . Otherwise house sit and pet both worked well. I would not select Elsa to house sit again.
