What can I say about Mary & Kevin! From our very first video chat to our last morning coffee on my return, it was like sitting down with good friends. In fact when Tuffty strolled into the kitchen, he first went to Kevin & Mary and then blessed me with his presence, what more needs to be said :-) Not only was the house clean and tidy but my refrigerator was stocked with food which meant that I could take a few days to get over my jet lag. Thank you for making my zeewoi experience so wonderful. Look forward to crossing paths again in the future.
Christine and Patrick are truly wonderful people! Their farm is an absolute gem, perfectly situated in a beautiful location. Each of their animals has its own unique personality, and spending time with them brought me so much joy. I felt so valued every time I walked through the back door, with all the animals eagerly running to greet me. Christine and Patrick provided clear, detailed instructions and were always available to chat, making my time on their farm seamless and enjoyable. I can't recommend them and their delightful farm enough!
Steve and Marianne are lovely people. They have a very comfortable bungalow in a prime location in the Peak District ideal for walking, relaxing etc. Mirk, their elderly Collie is a sweetheart. I was genuinely sad to leave him but hope to see him again in the not to distant future. The hens are very productive and clearly happy with their lot. Be prepared for an average of 8 to 9 eggs a day from only 15 hens! This despite them being confined to the indoors due to bird flu! A very memorable sit in every way!
The housesit was amazing and it was wonderful to look after all the animals. Clare and her hubby are the friendliest, nicest people who will make you feel at home immediately! Highly recommended!
I got to take care of Gaby and Bobby’s animals for a weekend. Unfortunately, my actual travel companion didn't have time at the dates, but it wasn’t a problem for the two of them that I was allowed to bring a friend. They were very flexible in terms of arrival/departure dates, they adapted to us as we could, in terms of work etc. Communication before and during was very good. Gaby picked us both up from the station and drove us back. On the way to her, she showed us a bit of the surroundings and gave us a few tips to visit. Once there, Gaby showed us the really beautiful house. She took a tour and gave us all the information we needed. The house and the garden are really a dream! She also offered us to use the massage room, the sauna, and the pool. Then she introduced us to the animals. Hunter is a very energetic dog. He’s very bright, sweet, needs a lot of attention and a bit cheeky, but so adorable. Chumlee, the slightly older dog, needs a lot of care. With us it worked really great, because he usually said on his own, when he had to go to the toilet. He’s a wonderful dog! Willow and Linus are the two hangos. Willow was always a bit reserved but always watched everything from “above” and present. Linus was like the king of the house. He didn’t care or bother at all, he did his thing. They also showed when they wanted to eat. In general, we really recommend the Sitt. The house and the surroundings are really charming, the animals are wonderful, Gaby and her husband are very friendly and nice. You just feel comfortable there. The only thing that was a bit of a pity was that it took a really long time to get directly to the city of Kaiserslautern, if you didn’t have a car at your disposal. If I get another chance to be there, I would be happy to come back.
Raf and Poe are the sweetest cats- very affectionate and cuddly. They were a pleasure to look after. Marko and Jana’s place is super cool and beautifully decorated. The location is great- under an 8 minute walk to the overground station and super close to bus stops. There’s a big Sainsburys nearby too! Would highly recommend :)
This was my first sit on TrustedHousesitters and it could not have gone better! Beau is such a sweet and lovable cat, and will let you know what he needs. He loves to go outside, and also makes a great cuddle buddy and adorable and funny companion. He warmed up to us right away and it was fun to bond with him. Matt and Jeannie are A+ hosts! They truly made our experience with their kindness, hospitality, organization, and communication. We got the opportunity to meet them in person before our sit, and learn about their lives and home in Nederland, and all of their travels. They’re an extremely nice and cool couple! We highly recommend this sit if you get the chance. Nederland is a beautiful mountain town and we were so grateful for the natural light, views, and proximity to nature. Would definitely sit again! I cannot sing the praises of Peaceful Pups Dog Care loudly enough. My dog had a rough passage prior to coming to my home. He endured losing a leg in Hurrican Marie in Puerto Rico. Peaceful Pups has worked with me to overcome his reactive quirks so he can have a much better life. I never worry for a second when he is in Lauren's care. She is a dog whisperer extraordinare. My dog howls when he knows she is coming. Praise from a pup who has had a tough time. THAT says it all!!

Went on a tour here and took our dogs for evaluations. The facility is gorgeous and very well kept. We saw a video of our dogs on social media which was fine. I also called to check on my dogs before they posted the video since it was their first doggy daycare. In the video, we didn’t love the volume of dogs in the play area. The dogs did great with their evaluation and the staff is absolutely lovely. We just noticed our dogs looked overwhelmed with all the other dogs there (it was close to 30 total that day). We were told max capacity is 75 dogs in a play area and they have appropriate staffing when they get to those volumes. I think it’s just a personal preference that we want our dogs in a smaller group environment so they aren’t overwhelmed. If it weren’t for the volume of dogs that go to this daycare, we would’ve used them daily but it just didn’t feel like a good fit for our pups
Our dog Lucy has stayed with K 9 Resorts a couple of times. One short weekend and then a two week stay while we are out of the country. When we picked her up on our return, she was excited, friendly, and very happy. All indications to us is our dog had a good time, looked healthy, and smelled fresh and clean from her pick up day bath. We are going away in late October and Lucy will definitely be staying at K 9 Resorts. By the way, after that Original short day, Lucy seemed excited when she went through the door going in for the two weeks stay, she liked the place, and that’s a great sign. Thanks so much for taking great care of her.
Sawyer loves hanging out with his doggie friends. The staff always takes such good care of him and he comes home happy and tired! We recently left him for 3 weeks and we worried about the length of time, but he came home happy and healthy.
My baby boy loves this place like a second home! It’s spotless and the staff is incredible (especially the assistant manager Lynette). As an over protective millennial dog mom I trust K9 resorts 100%. You can tell that everyone genuinely loves the dogs. I have peace of mind knowing he's happy and safe playing with his friends while I’m working. I have tried other camps before but none compare!
I can’t begin to say how thrilled we are w/ K9 resorts/ Emerson! The facility spotless, and each person there ultra-friendly and accommodating! We have been using K9 Resorts in Fairfield for over 5 years and recently had to switch to the Emerson location due to renovations. They were so incredible in helping us with our reservations. Their facility is top notch and the staff is so sweet. We left our girl in loving hands.
K9 Resorts of Emerson is a top notch facility. I had 2 dogs who have never boarded before stay at this location for 4 nights and they were well cared for, played with, and looked after with the utmost kindness and professionalism. I feel completely comfortable with the staff, facilities, and service at K9 Resorts of Emerson. I would highly recommend this business to anyone in need of dog boarding services. Today was our 1st time at going to K9 Resorts in Emerson for an evaluation for Day camp and possibly boarding for a future vacation . This place is beautiful , looks and smells clean . My two small pups were rescues , and it was our 1st time being apart from each other . The staff were so professional and kind , the answered all my questions, and were great with our fur babies!! They came out sooo happy !! I know they had a great time at camp , making new pup AND staff friends !! I will definitely bring them back for more socializing and fun . Definitely recommend !!
Melanie is awesome!! She took such great care of my pit/lab mix on a regular basis. It was comforting to know “my baby” was in amazing hands. Melanie is super friendly, professional, and genuinely cares. It’s obvious she loves what she does. I HIGHLY recommend Wags to Whiskers Pet Care!!
