The weather was warm during my stay so my main job was putting food out and opening the door when Garfield occasionally ventured in from outside. Great location in Vienna. Would recommend!
Jennifer and her pets are super sweet! She is communicative and easy going. I had a wonderful time in Kona, her house has a beautiful view of the sunset and a nice yard. The dogs are so lovable and affectionate! The cat is cute and sweet too. I would sit for them again anytime!
What an incredible 10 days looking after the most wonderful pets in a super stunning spot. Tangle is the most well-mannered dog. She just wants to be where you are. She is happy out walking for 3-4 miles or happy hanging on the couch with you but happiest when you want to relax in the glorious garden with the babbling pond in the background. Rumpus is an independent kitty who is very loving when he comes in the evening or pops by during the day between his hunts. Jane and Roger having lovingly updated the Oak Cottage to have so many modern, clever touches. It is exceptionally comfortable, especially the bed. Treat yourself to making great meals as Jane has every spice and utensil you will need. You may be lucky that her vegetable garden is in season. With our rental car and trusty Google Maps, we found so much to do within a 30-minute drive but also had two longer days to Stonehenge and Portsmouth. The numerous public foot paths nearby are also very nice hikes. Jane has nice stack of brochures to introduce you to the area and Jane has marked great loops on 2 area maps. Tangle can join you for most things and Jane points out in the terrific Welcome Guide so many places that are pet friendly. We sincerely hope our travels bring us to the UK again and we would jump on an opportunity to housesit at the Oak Cottage with Tangle and Rumpus again.
We had a lovely long stay with Luna over Christmas. Luna is a very easy dog to look after, she is affectionate, funny and loves company. Walking her is easy, there are parks nearby and she loves fetching the ball and returns to you every time. Claire and Simon were very welcoming. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need to enjoy your time there. There are good shops, cafes and restaurants within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
Lovely experience! Yucho is a very adorable, curious, and calm dog. Bertrand and Marion's apartment location is excellent, and they have always been very attentive and helpful. ❤️
