Kat's home is such an amazing sanctuary in Manhattan Beach. Kat and her family were so welcoming to Zeus, Brani, and I. It was such a bonus being able to meet their kids before the whole family took off. We loved how laid back and flexible Kat is. Even though they were in a fairly remote location, when a question arose, Kat and/or Ken were quick to respond. Pepper and Lucy are just like their parents, gracious and extremely welcoming hosts. We enjoyed daily walks on the greenbelt near their home and strolls along the Strand. Sometimes the girls would sleep on the bed with us, other times they'd peacefully sleep in their beds nearby, it just depended on their mood. Pepper and Lucy loved to play and cuddle, the best of both worlds. We're looking forward to hopefully spending more time with Pepper and Lucy in the future.
Marcia and Krister are wonderful people and it was a huge pleasure to housesit for them. We spent two months taking care of Gato, who is the most wonderful cat ever! She was a great companion, incredibly friendly and lovable. It was so easy to take care of her. She will remain forever in our hearts! Marcia and Krister's apartment is very practical and has absolutely everything needed for a very comfortable stay, plus a wonderful open view over the bay and the park. The neighbourhood is very calm, surrounded by big parks and perfectly connected by tram and buses with different parts of Helsinki, so it was really easy to move around the city. Thanks Marcia and Krister for everything! We are very grateful for this experience and would love to housesit for you again in the future and meet Gato again!
We had a wonderful stay at James and Daniel's home with there sweet crew of animals. The home is a log cabin paradise with some of the best access to the gorgeous town of Breckenridge. The dogs are amazing and SO well trained. We got plenty of cuddles from Paxton and fun walks with Avy! Frosty is in amazing health for his age and enjoys the company of visitors after a bit of warming up.
Had a lovely weekend at Ed & Olivia's. Polo & Puffin are adorable and very easy to look after. Beautiful surroundings and really enjoyed sitting out on an evening watching the flock of swifts swooping overhead & black kites circling above the trees... thank you for a very comfortable stay and generous hospitality 😍
Melissa explained everything in detail before l started to sit . Everything was clear and as l live in Austin we met so Luna could see me and Melissa too. Although l travel a lot and right now have no possibility to have a dog, Luna made me want to have a dog as soon as l can. She was super easy playful and so loving . Super excited to see me and show off her play with egg in the garden. I spent a lot of time just working on papers in Melissa's home and Luna was my funny dear companion. The house is super nice. Melissa is a kind and understanding person.
Molly and Graham were a delight to sit for! The two cats mostly kept to themselves, but Boobie did warm up to me by the end of our stay. The cats were pretty low-maintenance, but Boobie did enjoy hunting our phone charger while we dragged it behind us around the house (and he was very gentle while he played!). Molly and Graham even left a very helpful and thoughtful welcome guide with local recommendations and a welcome basket for us! I would love to care for these kitties again some day.
