Milton was a great sitter, Georgia seemed quite happy around him. Had to cut my trip short a day due to an incoming snowstorm, Milton stayed the night and left the next day.
Had a great time hanging out with V the cat at Emily's comfortable house in Ogden. This was a great sit: had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and I was easily able to work remotely for the week I was there. Homeowners were super friendly, easy to communicate with, and flexible -- made this sit a breeze! Taking care of V was easy as pie - she was a little shy at first but quickly warmed up to me :) I definitely recommend this housesit to other sitters if you get the chance!
Kona is a big ole sweet bear and Meeko is an energetic and affectionate Velcro pup who will be your glued to you couch buddy. Morning walks helped their energy levels 🙂. The game tables upstairs were a lot of fun and the neighborhood was super friendly. Easy drive to downtown and close to a lake for kayaking. You have to be very careful what you leave within reach while you are gone however as Meeko is young and when we would come back from an outing it was quite surprising what he would choose to chew…my paperback book and 20 boxes with metal monitors in them that my husband uses for work (the metal monitors were fine, just the boxes they came in were shredded) were the most surprising. He liked to move my shoes but he never harmed them and I learned to put them out of reach. The Guinea pigs were cute to listen to their excited little squeaks when you brought veggie peels to them. They set up they have to feed and water the dogs makes it super easy. And I have to mention how adorable and cozy the Harry Potter themed cupboard under the stairs is!
This was a lovely sit! Jelly the dog was a total dreamboat- calm, gentle, cuddly, and so well-behaved. Janna the host was a breeze to communicate with and just an overall great person. The house was absolutely gorgeous and I spent most of my time in the epic backyard enjoying the sun, pool, and views. Jelly and I enjoyed watching the local wildlife and walking through the neighborhood trail system. It was hard to say goodbye. I highly recommend this sit and hope to return again sometime!
This was a great experience. Fell in love with the animals and the place was like an artists retreat. What great memories!
