We had a lovely stay at Ambra and Sean's house. Communication with the hosts was very easy, we received detailed instructions about how to take care of Phokey and the house, and all of our questions were promptly answered on whatsapp. Phokey was a delight to take care of! He is loving and sweet, and it was very enjoyable to hang out with him and listen to his purring 😺😺 😺 We also enjoyed staying in Walthamstow, one of our favorite parts of London. Would recommend this sit to anyone!
House sitting at Karen's place was definitely a nice experience. She has Been very communicative with all the instructions. Chichi and Scooby-Doo are two lovable dogs. The house and the amenities are excellent. The area is very safe and parking just in front of the house.
Well this truly was a great Sit, what a wonderful time we had caring for adorable Teddy. Teddy's owners - Lynn and Tim are so lovely. They are both very friendly and they warmly welcomed us to their comfortable home. Tim gave us all the helpful information we needed with regard to Teddy and their home and the location, best walks etc. mainly it have a lovely time and if you give Teddy lots of tummy tickles she will love you forever 😄- it's true! On to Teddy - well she is an utter Sweetheart! Such a pleasure to care for. She is so well behaved and has a wonderful loving temperament. This really is just a big loving teddy bear. She is a very undemanding doggie, mostly our days were a walk am and pm but she is just as happy with one longer walk. There are so many great walks from the house where Teddy can run off leash, she never stays far from you at all and has excellent recall. She is a real people lover so anyone you meet she is super friendly with, she's not at all bothered with other dogs, perhaps not everso sure of some and will scamper away from them or make detours around them. There is a great woodland walk in the village, we drove to it because of a busy road and Teddy loves it there. She loved our days out at the beach, we went to Southwold, a 40 mins drive away. She was excellent off leash and on leash through Southwold town etc. She loved here sand digging and exploring, again always near by to you. She's a pleasure to take out and it's fair to say we totally fell in love with Teddy. Whether you are lounging/dining outside in the private garden or in the evenings sitting in the lounge, Teddy loves to cuddle up next to you and be there along with you. She loves company. She will follow you everywhere, its super sweet. Loves bedtime when she scampers upstairs with you, making herself as small as possible to be on the bed with you longer, but she will just as easily lay on the floor as soon as you tell her. You will be greeted with her gorgeous fluffy face in the morning. We would highly recommend this Sit, but do be aware - Teddy will definitely steal your heart. We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Lynn and Tim for such a wonderful Housesit x Also, Poringland is a great village, has a Budgens store and Norwich City is just a 15 minutes drive with large Supermarkets easily accessible.
Nanette and Bob made us feel welcome in their beautiful home, right from the start. Their home is situated in a pleasant part of Tucson. The area is quiet, with ample of local wild life to watch and enjoy. Their two amazing young cats, Taj and Sammy, were so much fun to take care of. From walking them in the gardens to playing with them for hours with feather sticks. It really was a pleasure to look after them and we already miss them dearly. Nanette & Bob very kindly took the time to provide us with plenty of local information, including the location of multiple hikes and local eateries; their local knowledge was very impressive. With the added generous provision of a vehicle planning of days out was far easier. We were also very grateful to Nanette and Bob for allowing us to stay on a couple of days, whilst waiting on our exiting flight. We wouldn't hestitate in house sitting (or recommending to others) for Nanette and Bob again as it would give us more time with them and their wonderful cats.
Ted is super chill and communicative and had really great recommendations. We loved sitting there! Tako is the sweetest, most well-behaved little guy! He’s great on leash and doesn’t bark or chew. He just follows you around with a big smile on his face ready to nap wherever you are. Seriously, such a sweet dog! We walked him about 4 miles a day and that seemed to be plenty for him. We miss his morning greetings! He’d come into the bedroom with a giant smile to wake you ready for his morning walk. He was such a great little companion. The plants, fish and chickens are all easy. The cat, Alley, usually sleeps in the garden beds, but she’s super friendly and LOVES pets and will come up to get as many as she can! We would definitely sit here again, we had a lot of fun in Chico!
I spent a most enjoyable week in Julia’s lovely cottage with Mowgli. I was struck by the wonderful location - just outside Nailsworth - and superb views from the house. I met Julia on the day of the sit. She could not have been more helpful and accommodating - a lovely person who communicated well during the sit. Mowgli was a delight to look after and I very much enjoyed her company. Would thoroughly recommend this sit!
