It was our pleasure to sit for Christine and we absolutely adored taking care of Lilo and Nani who were truly the sweetest little cats you could meet. They loved to cuddle and play with their toys around the flat. They were inquisitive and so friendly and made us laugh with their different personalities. Lilo is definitely the more cheeky girl and Nani was super easygoing. We enjoyed waking up every morning and they would be waiting outside the door together for fuss and biscuits. What a joy to have such lovely pets we were so sad to leave them! Christine has a lovely home with everything you need for a comfortable stay in a safe and vibrant neighbourhood near the centre of Singapore. She is a friendly and easy to talk to person and we had a wonderful time in Singapore overall. Thank you so much for trusting us with your home and furbabies.
This sit was an absolutely great way to explore London! Natalia and Alessandro were absolutely fantastic hosts and communicated with us smoothly and promptly throughout our journey (which was important as we were traveling from abroad). Gnocco is an adorable cat and very funny - we discovered he has an unexplainable love for liquid containers (like soda cans, or cups with tea) that he loves to rub his face on. He is very easy to care for and we loved petting him and being around him in general. The house was very clean and is comfortable, with an office space, a big comfortable couch, and a cozy bed (be aware that the bed is pretty firm, but we had no problems with it). Everything was freshly made up for us. Last but not least, the neighborhood is centrally located and at a great point from which to explore London; the house is less than a 15 minute walk to the station which is at the center of many transport lines. We couldn’t have had a better stay. Thank you Natalia and Alessandro!
We had an unbelievable experience in Portrush with Beau & Socks. I feel like we developed strong bonds, not only with the pups but Judy & Tim too. They are kind and genuine and just all-round lovely people. They both are committed volunteers with the RNLI, an amazing organization dedicated to saving lives at sea. On top of that, Tim is a talented artist and we were fortunate to abscond with several of his prints (with permission!). On arrival, they picked us up at the train station, gave us a tour of the area then cooked us a lovely dinner. At the end of their trip, their ferry was delayed and they didn't arrive home until 3am but Judy still insisted on getting us to the train at 6am. We were disappointed to not have more time to spend with them but will definitely be planning to visit again. Beau and Socks were the best companions and the best cuddlers! They love to be with you and if your lap is exposed, they are happy to help keep it warm. The pups get along great and have fun together - they'll compete for cuddles though :) Beau likes to be hilariously helpful. She'll supervise meal prep, tidy the floor if you drop something, helps you put your shoes on and assists in getting Socks into his harness. Beau is selective when seeing/meeting other dogs on our outings but easy to nudge in another direction. Socks is incredibly easy-going and agreeable. He's happy to laze in the sun or hang out on the couch for a nap. He has a face that can melt your heart. He's dealing with a bit of arthritis so super long walks weren't best for him but we got to the beach a couple of times. The house is as easy-going as its residents. It's very comfortable and adorable. It features lots of unique treasures and some beautiful antiques. The garden/yard is big and beautiful with a lovely patio area, ideal for hanging out on warm days. The location is brilliant. It's a quick walk into town and exploring the Causeway region is super-easy because transit is literally outside the door. Beau and Socks are so well-behaved. They'll just settle in for a few hours if you want to explore the area which is incredibly beautiful. The people in town are welcoming and friendly and made us feel like locals. We can't WAIT to return but in the meantime, we highly recommend this sit!!
The beautiful puffballs Luna and Jasmine (aka Little) were a pleasure to look after, and their home is super comfortable and clean with all the amenities I could ask for. Anna sent some helpful short videos to explain how appliances worked etc. Jasmine was immediately my best friend, rolling over to invite belly rubs as soon as I met her (and it wasn't a trap!) and overall was such an affectionate sweetheart. Luna mostly kept to herself and stared at me from the garden, but she got slightly less aloof as my three days went on. I didn't force interaction but just talked gently to her, and if I'd had a few more weeks maybe she would have decided to be my friend 😂. They're both lovely and easy to look after in their own opposite ways. The neighbourhood is very nice with grocery stores and other amenities in walking distance, and there are a lot of great places to explore nearby - I loved visiting Stratford-upon-Avon in particular. I definitely recommend this sit!
A beautiful property in Bli Bli that overlooks the Maroochydore river and views to the ocean from Maroochydore to Coolum. So central to everything on the coast. I had the joy of looking after Daisy & Harriet, the two chickens, with my favourite part being our freerange time every afternoon. Louise and Nigel are fabulous people who are relaxed, generous and so welcoming and made me feel so at home. I chose to stay in the four poster bed in the pool house with all the blinds open so I could wake up to sensational views. Loved the variety of bird life including the local Kookaburras, parrots and of course a friendly friendly magpie and her offspring that greeted me every day. Highly recommend this house sit if you love nature while being a short drive to beach & restaurants. But apart from doing a few whale watching trips I ended up spending my time at the property just taking in the views. So relaxing. Thank you Louise and Nigel, it was such a pleasure to enjoy your home and the chooks.
Melani was a great host! The communication was easy with her and nothing was complicated. Her appartment is centrally located in Dallas and has access to nice amenities such as a gym, 2 pools, hot tubs, etc. Dexter and Piper are ones the most affectionate dogs that we ever met! They love to be petted and they are so nice with kids. We miss them already. We would sit for Melani anytime. Thanks Melani! :-)
