Ann stayed with our energetic 2 year old lagotto Iggy and 13 year old Maine Coon Biggie a few times and she went above and beyond for both visits. She sent regular updates about our pets and left the apartment spotless. She’s such a nice person with a kind spirit. We could tell - based on how calm both our pets were when we arrived home - that their every need were attended to. She also took excellent care of our plants including on our balcony which we hugely appreciated. Thanks Ann and hope to see you again soon!
Florence and Wayne were great guests for the week we were on vacation! We have quite a houseful, with 5 animals + I had planted some baby plants, and they took great care of everyone while we were gone. Florence was very communicative both before the visit, and throughout their stay. They checked in with us regularly and let us know how the animals were doing, with photos! This was the first time I had used a housesitter and my husband was a little wary when I suggested it for this vacation, but we certainly had a FANTASTIC experience. Florence and Wayne arrived a few hours before we were due to leave, so that I could show them where all the important things were. I went over the written information about pet care, and they played and interacted with my 3 year old daughter, which she loved! As mentioned, they regularly checked in with us and let us know how the pets were doing throughout their stay. They sent pictures too! We were coming home in the middle of the night (we arrived home about 2am) so they stayed that night to make sure we got home OK, which we appreciated because we had been traveling internationally. We came home to a clean house, with well cared for animals. They even left behind some of the food they had purchased, which was nice because we didn't have to run out first thing for breakfast food. We loved having them here, would highly recommend them and welcome them back anytime.
