We absolutely loved every second of our house sit here! Steve and Barb had excellent communication, provided us with detailed instructions, and endless fun activities to do in the area. They are incredible people make your time up in Alaska better :) After our first meet, they made us feel very comfortable to settle into their home and enjoy the space that they have clearly put so much love into. Farley is the sweetest adventure companion who is always down to hike, or just relax and provide good company. He is VERY easy to care for. By the time we left, we felt like family and we already miss the three of them! It is a true treat to housesit here.
Petsitting Jacob's dogs was so nice! His lovely dogs were super friendly. We really enjoyed staying in Stuttgart, it's a lovely place to relax and chill. Jacob was so attentive and we could communicate with him very well. We hope we come back soon!
I had a wonderful time watching Penny. She is such a sweet, gentle little gal. She loves her walks around the neighborhood, to parks, farmers markets and even Butchart gardens. She’s very snuggly and loves to be on your lap while relaxing. Ginny’s home is very comfortable, clean and well organized. She left great instructions, and lots of good recommendations for restaurants and activities nearby. The neighborhood is perfect for walking, biking and is very close to downtown Victoria ‘s inner harbor. It’s without hesitation that I highly recommend this housesit. It was definitely a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ sit! .
We thoroughly enjoyed caring for Chewy. He is such a cute, loving, and spunky little dude, and we miss him already. It took a couple of days for him to really warm up to us, but once he felt comfortable with us he was very cuddly and loving. He slept with us every night and any chance he got to curl up next to us he would. He loved chasing after socks and did great on walks. He's a very easy walker and he didn't have any issues or fears around people or dogs. My only note for future sitters is that we noticed that Chewy was a bit nippy for the first couple of days if we had to pick him up. If you have small children you may want to be extra mindful of your little ones at first or until Chewy feels comfortable with you. Jenny made us feel right at home. She was very quick to reply to any questions we had, and is just a lovely person to chat with. Her home is in a great location in a quiet neighborhood and has everything you need for a peaceful and cozy stay in Seattle. We'd definitely do another sit for Jenny, and we hope our paths cross again in the future.
I really enjoyed my time petsitting for Kirsty and Gaz. Kirsty is a very good communicator and she was always available to answer questions, provide instructions, and to figure anything out that needed figuring out! Zoro and Lilly-Rose were just adorable. They definitely get you out of bed early when they want their morning walk, and are a pleasure throughout. The guest unit that was provided for the sit was neat, clean and private. Their home has beautiful views of the bay and is also a short walk to the beach below. This was a great sit and I would definitely recommend getting in touch with Kirsty!
I had a beautiful time looking after Bean in Pam’s stunning home! Bean really stole my heart and I got a bit emotionally saying goodbye 😄 Pam is a stunning host and did so much to help me feel welcome and comfortable.
