Dede kept us well-informed with regular pictures and updates, which we really appreciated. When we returned, our cats were calm and at ease— a clear sign that they felt comfortable and happy during Dede's stay. Ruben was a delightful pet and home sitter for us. He came a day early to meet our cat Lucy and learn about our house. He asked very good questions about his duties and followed through during his stay. He helped find some items I had forgotten and passed them on to a friend who stopped by to get them. His communication with us was good during his stay. I highly recommend Reuben!
This was a fantastic sit in Quarndon! I really enjoyed spending time with the girls, Roo and Prim. They were very well-behaved and great off the lead when going for our daily walks in the nearby park, which is a lovely place for walks and has plenty of blackberry bushes, perfect for a mid-walk snack in summer. They were very affectionate dogs and we enjoyed lots of cuddles on the couch in the evenings. Isobel and Neil have a beautiful home with a vibrant guestroom, very well set up for guests to stay. They were very hospitable and I met them before the sit to go for a walk with the dogs, and go over everything. They were very responsive with any questions I had and were kind enough to drop me off at the bus station when I left. They cooked me a wonderful dinner the night before and left some delicious food behind for me. I loved sitting in the garden, accompanied by Roo and Prim, watching the birds come and go, and also enjoyed some of the fresh tomatoes in the greenhouse! Thanks again for a wonderful sit!
