Cattus and Carol, the cats, were a joy to take care of. And the hens were delightful as hens can be, roaming the beautiful treed property as 'queens of all they surveyed'. Bird lovers will enjoy this little slice of bird heaven too. Jodie made sure we knew all the ins and outs of 'life at Bushy House BnB' where the accommodation matched expectations for a BnB, minus the breakfast of course, which I know would have been superb. We wish Jodie a happy experience in her new foray into the TH community. She already knows the drill, keeping in touch prior to the sit, and during, and making sure we knew our responsibilities ahead of time. We felt very comfortable 'minding the house' for the duration of the stay.
This was our first sit - and what a wonderful experience. We met Minnie and Pepi who both have very endearing personalities in their own way. It was a joy to walk them and see Minnie enjoying the water in the stream. She is arthritic and you could see how lovely the cool stream was for her. Pepi was a little nervous to start with but soon relaxed into our presence. The accommodation was spacious, well appointed and in a gorgeous setting in the Kent countryside. Anne and Gary were very supportive given it was our first petsit with Trusted Petsitters and it was their first time too so we kept them updated regularly with how things were going. We are hoping to see Minnie and Pepi again soon and wouldn't hesitate to return.
What a wonderful week’s sit just near home! Kate and Tony’s home is large and very comfortable with wonderful views over the Shropshire countryside. I had done a pre-sit visit as it is so close so when I arrived the morning of the sit I felt instantly welcome and at home. Kate had left a very useful list of contacts and a checklist of things to do particularly with the sheep as I hadn’t sat for sheep before! Tony then showed me everything outside which meant I felt totally at ease with everything. Hetty is a super easy dog - she potters around, walks with you, sits at your feet or sleeps and gives comical looks! A dream! Caring for the chickens, the sheep, the fish and the house was a pleasure. The phone numbers were appreciated when I needed reassurance about one of the lambs. There are many lovely walks straight from the house as well as Shrewsbury, Church Stretton and other beautiful villages etc just a short drive away. I cannot recommend this sit highly enough Thank you Kate and Tony!
I had a lovely time cat sitting for Maggie recently as she's a very sweet natured, endearing and affectionate cat who adores to be groomed and stroked in between her cat naps and spending time in the lovely garden, which i also enjoyed. I had a very helpful video call and handover before the sit started with Elizabeth and Oliver who gave me clear instructions on everything and they were very helpful and welcoming and the flat was very comfortable and the area is also conveniently located near a wide range of amenities including a tube station in walking distance and large supermarket and many cafes etc. All in all a great cat sit and i'd be very happy to return again when the dates fit and many thanks to Elizabeth and Oliver for inviting me.
I had a wonderful time looking after Luna in the summer. Gretchen and her family are very kind and welcoming, I had everything I needed and could get in touch with questions at any time. Luna is the sweetest dog. Be prepared to meet many new people on outings with her as everyone loves her and she loves everyone! The house is located in one of the best areas in London, close to several parks. I also took Luna to Surrey on public transport which was easy as she's such a relaxed dog. Highly recommended, would go back any time!
I highly recommend sitting for Shanna’s adorable pets! She had decided to take the cute as a button Balea pup with her but I met the frisky girl and Shanna upon my arrival some hours before. My constant affectionate companion was Baci the young kitty. We had a wonderful couple of weeks of togetherness. Shanna was a thoughtful, well organized host and pet mom. She was readily in contact although all went smoothly. I miss wee Baci - chasing each other around the house and snuggling when all pooped out:)
