Colleen, Kevin and their three daughters are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. We were gone for about two months, the longest stretch of leaving our pups at home. We have one senior pup who we usually have to put in a room when guests come over because she barks and sometimes scares people. We have a younger pup who is super friendly with everyone. We were initially hesitant to work with anyone because not everyone warms up to our senior pup, and she does wake up at odd hours of the night to go business. As soon as Colleen, Kevin, and their daughters stepped into our home, they were gushing over our pups and giving them so much love. In fact, usually when we come home from a trip, our pups are over the moon excited to see us. This time, when we got home, our pups didn't blink an eye. That was because our pups were absolutely adored and cared for the entire time we were gone. They were even trained and walked more times than we usually do. If our pups could talk, they would probably tell us to trade families! We didn't ask for it, but we got weekly text messages with photos and updates on the pups and how the house was doing. They drove our cars a few times a week to make sure they were running. And they even were willing to pick us up from the airport when our ride fell through. We came home to a super clean home (cleaner than we left it!) and to a beautiful welcome sign! These people are GOLD. Honestly, I would fly them in from wherever they are to take care of our pups and home again. They are absolutely worth it, and more.
Rick and Sally are marvelous cat sitters and we would gladly have them back anytime. We highly recommend them to any and all pet owners. They arrived when they said they would and were ready to go when we returned, making sure our cats were present before departing. Our home was left spotless, undoubtedly better than we left it for them. We can't urge you enough to engage them if you can!
Buddy is one of the sweetest, most energetic dogs that I’ve ever known! I housesitted for him for a little bit more than a month. I think what he likes the most is walking, he walks with such enthusiasm! Walking him is very easy, he’s friendly with other dogs and people. He wakes up very early, between 6 am to 7 am and will go to the bedroom and let you known he would like to walk! Definitely not a sit for late risers 😆 He needs to be walked 3 times a day so you can’t go very far for a long time. For me it was totally fine because the place is so centrally located (Park LaBrea), many great places are in a walking distance like museums, cinemas, The Grove, good restaurants. Walking a dog in Park LaBrea is super nice! I think so far it is my favorite neighborhood to walk a dog in LA! One thing I think a sitter should know is that sometimes Buddy barks near the window when he sees or senses an animal outside. There were some occasions that it happened in the middle of the night. I enjoyed staying in Cami’s place. It has everything a person needs and more. There’s no TV but there’s a projector, so you can watch stuff after dark. The bed was very comfortable for me. Loved the coffee machine. Nice backyard area. Communication with Cami went overall OK. Would like to thank Cami for choosing me to be Buddy’s dog sitter. I recommend this house sitting very much!
We had a really nice and chill stay at Barry and Diane's place with the kitties. Zara and Nuit were very easy to care for though were very shy during our visit. We're excited to return for another stay and are very grateful for Barry and Diane's lovely hospitality and generosity in sharing their home!
I had a wonderful time sitting for Dylan. He's a very sweet dog; loving and great fun to walk and spend time with. Caroline and Peter made sure that I had everything I needed, and their home is gorgeous. Chichester is a fabulous city, close to the coast and places such as Portsmouth, which is ideal for exploring. Would highly recommend. Thanks again Caroline!
I had an excellent time looking after Phil and Charlotte's two adorable cats. They were a pleasure to look after - really fun, sweet, playful and just lovely to be around. It was great to meet Phil and Charlotte, they made me feel very welcome in their house and were always quick to respond to any questions I had. The house itself is very comfortable, and is located in a great part of London with parks, cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. I would definitely recommend this sit if you have the opportunity to apply.
Elizabeth and Boris were really welcoming and super responsive whenever I had a question. Their house is in such an interesting and unique community and I really had a wonderful time! Aspen is really sweet and loves people. She knows commands really well so she is very easy to take care of.
Jacob and Deepa, thank you so much for the privilege of spending time with Sydney in Bangsar. I thoroughly enjoyed sharing the quiet times and the moments of overwhelming joy when Sydney twirled in excitement of being fed at meal times. The friendliest dog squad and their owners became my social community and provided all sorts of advice on shopping, touring, and the neighbourhood. What they missed Krista supplied. All was totally welcoming and I highly recommend this sit for the ease, ambience and Malaysian culture. A pleasurable treasure.
