We were so pleased to meet John and Trisha! We had them come in a day before we left and enjoyed a nice meal with them and they got to meet Delilah (even if she didn’t seem interested) but she soon warmed up to them - except for the Cat Videos - she wasn’t very interested 🤣 When we returned our home was so clean (probably cleaner than we left it)! We got frequent pics and updates on our Princess! They also left us with a Progress Report with Delilah’s activities and what they did at the house before they left. We would highly recommend John & Trisha if you are lucky enough to have them apply for a House Sitters job! Bill, Kathy & Delilah 🐈⬛❤️
I was incredibly lucky to have Trisha stay with Lucy at our house in Topsail. It was our first experience with zeewoi and Trisha established some very high standards! From the start, we had very good and timely communication. During her stay, Trisha kept me updated on Lucy's wellbeing with daily photos and messages. I could tell that Lucy was spoiled and very happy with all the attention she got. The house was in excellent shape when I returned and there were sweet notes and souvenirs for both me and Lucy. We'd be very lucky to have Trisha come back for another stay with Lucy! All in all, an excellent experience. Thank you, Trisha!
Natasja was THE best cat sitter over a weekend sit for our two cats. She was a great to communicate with and chatted with me on the phone before the sit. We were able to meet in person to transfer keys thanks to her flexible schedule. She was extremely tidy at our home and most of all, she is a true cat lover. My cats were showered with affection and playtime and Natasja sent many pics and videos throughout the sit. She is so sweet and even left some printed photos of our cats!! She goes above and beyond and I would be so thrilled to invite her to catsit for us again in the future.
I had a wonderful time at Suzanne’s. Whiskey is an absolute sweetheart and beyond well behaved. The walks are breeze right from their house. And the nearby restaurants and wineries were wonderful to check out. And getting to hang out some with Reece’s the cat was a joy too. Suzanne and Chris were very welcoming and explained everything needed for a great stay. I’d love to return. 😃
Being our first sit with Trusted House Sitters, we are extremely grateful that it was with Whiskey in Chris and Suzanne's beautiful home in Hydes, MD. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Chris, Suzanne, their daughters and Whiskey made us feel welcomed the moment we arrived. Whiskey was such a well-behaved, sweet girl. We enjoyed walks, sunbathing and cuddles with her. We enjoyed visiting and petting their horses and barn cat. Their home was so beautiful and relaxing. Their hospitality was impeccable. There was a heat wave during our sit, so their pool was very refreshing. Chris and Suzanne had ample suggestions on fun places and events nearby, which was very helpful as we were not familiar with the area. Overall, our experience during this sit was a 10/10. We cannot thank Chris and Suzanne enough. If our schedules in the future, we are definitely sitting for Chris and Suzanne again.
We had a fantastic sit at Tabitha's beautiful home with Buddy and Monkey. Monkey is a cuddle bug and such a fun personality and Buddy is a gem, sweet sweet boy. Tabitha was fantastic at communication, she has a lovely home, and amazing neighbourhood. Super appreciated how gracious and prepared she was. This was one of our top sits we have ever had and loved every minute of it. Thank you for having us!
Elizabeth and David have a beautiful home and it was a joy to stay there. Even in January, the garden was full of interest and we loved having such easy access onto the fields and woods. They had thought of everything - lots of food to get us going, insurance on the car in case we needed it, lovely guest bedroom and bathroom and loads of helpful information. Lottie was a pleasure to care for and she got on particularly well with our younger retriever and they were always together on walks leading the way. They were happy for us have some friends to stay who also all loved the house and garden and area. There was easy communication whilst they were away. We hope to see Elizabeth and David again once we have moved nearer and look forward to doing reciprocal dog care in the future.
We had a great time at Grey’s place with Pip and Bilal! Poor Pip had a tail injury unexpectedly, but Grey was in constant communication with us about it while he was away which was very helpful. The animals are so sweet! Pip is such a great dog, very easy to walk and care for. Bilal is also such a gem. We miss them a lot now we are gone :) Grey’s house is beautiful and large, as well. The neighbour is awesome - many amazing parks, cafes and pubs close. We felt very welcomed there. Grey is super great at communication, and a very lovely person. We would definitely sit here again.
I had a wonderful time sitting for Helen. She has a beautiful home with a view of the sea. I spent many hours chilling on the deck enjoying the Devon sunshine! Monti and Milo are great dogs. They're sweet and affectionate, and generally very non-demanding. Milo is very reactive to other dogs, so you need to take a bit of care when walking him, but it's more than manageable. After a few days, I got into a good routine where I could let him off the lead in the local fields. I had some lovely walks with the two of them. Helen was very welcoming and always happy to help.
