Cat Sitters in Heckmondwike

Liz and her son looked after my cat, Sushi, for two nights in April 2024 while I was on a ship and mostly unavailable. I got regular updates on how Sushi was going, the house was left spotless, and Sushi was happy and clearly well looked-after when I got back. Liz even left us some lovely gifts from the UK and we all had dinner together on my return. Liz and her son are both very open, friendly and communicative, and I'd have no second thoughts about having them come and sit again.

It was brilliant having Lucy to look after Bryn & our home - everything worked out perfectly. She kept in touch regularly and we were totally confident leaving her in charge. After a long journey home, we were treated to a delicious home-cooked meal too. Bryn welcomed us back and then disappeared again to find Lucy - he clearly adored her! We would highly recommend Lucy and would be delighted to have her here again as a housesitter, or as a guest.

Wow what wonderful Housesitters. Everywhere was left spotless and our dogs were very happy. They had been extremely spoilt and I think we’re now second best. They met lots of people on their dog walks and we’ve had lovely feedback. Hopefully we will be able to use them again soon.

Maïka was our saviour when we had to travel abroad at short notice to spend time with family - initially we were unsure about the length of our trip, but Maïka’s understanding, kindness, and flexibility allowed us to work out a plan so we could be away without worries. Maïka sent regular photo updates - we LOVED these, and they added to reassurance that our 2 cats were not only in safe hands, but were having lots of cuddles and interaction. We returned to 2 happy chappies and a clean home. We couldn’t recommend Maïka more, and will be forever thankful that she helped us out in challenging circumstances.

Helen was amazing, her and her family did an excellent job looking after the animals (dogs, cat and terrapins), the house and was totally self sufficient. She made it extremely easy for us to go away and it was a real pleasure to have hosted her.

Shruthi was great with our pets and house. We came home to very calm animals and a very clean home. We'll definitely be in touch for next time.

This was our second time having Cass sit for Puffin and Squirrel - we’re so glad she was able to come back again. Cass sent regular updates and was very communicative about her arrival and departure plans. The cats were very comfortable with her and she left the house in such great shape! Would welcome her back anytime.

Jana and Christina were great! They cared for Gracie extremely well. When I returned with them at the same time she bypassed me and went to them first. A great sign she loved them. My condo was very clean and orderly. I would definitely have them again.

We highly recommend. Christine was a fantastic dog and house sitter for 3 weeks. Her presence allowed our family to have the holiday of a lifetime without any concerns or worries. Leaving a young dog for such a long time was a worry for us and Christine was amazing. In our return the house was tidier than when we left, our Pomeranian Mini was given undivided attention and Christine went the extra mile - literally- taking Mini on daily adventures and walks. They travelled the Lake District by car and bus and Mini, loved it. Christine was communicative before the sit, organised her travel around our journey time and put us at ease immediately. During the 3 weeks Christine kept us updated with messages and pictures which was great. She didn’t want to impose on our holiday so agreed with us beforehand how often she would update us, which was lovely as she gave us the preference. The household is busy with cleaners and deliveries and mechanics picking up vehicles for service etc and she accommodated these and many other considerations with ease and calm.

George and Jasmin are absolutely lovely. We had a Zoom call 2 weeks prior to my departure and then they arrived on the day I was leaving a few hours before so that we could go through the girls routines, and show them round the house. They sent me photos and kept me informed throughout their stay and when I returned 9 days later the house was clean and tidy - they had even washed the towels and bedding they had used and re-made the bed. The girls were all relaxed and happy. I would highly recommend George and Jasmine to care for your pets and would definitely use them again. Thank you to both of you for being such excellent and caring sitters.

Ryan was the perfect sitter. He is open and honest and showed a genuine interest in the dogs and their daily needs. As there is no public transport where we live, we arranged to pick Ryan up and dropped him off at the end of his stay. He was otherwise, self sufficient during his weekend sit and had a great rapport with the dogs. He communicated with us during the weekend and we returned to a neat and tidy house and 2 very relaxed dogs . We would definitely welcome Ryan back for future sits and wouldn’t hesitate recommending him to others

Em was great! It was her first sit with TH and we chatted beforehand about everything. She arrived on time and worked with me while my return time was in flux. Charlie had a great weekend with her!
