Sophie stole our heart! Cooper and hooch were great too!
I recently had the pleasure of house sitting for Rob and Ceyda, a truly welcoming couple. Their two young dogs, Ponyo and Molly, are as sweet as can be. Though initially untrained, which led to some noise complaints early on, these pups showed a great capacity for learning. With consistent training over a few weeks, both dogs made impressive progress, much to the delight of the neighbors, myself and even Rob and Ceyda noticed the change upon return. Their cats, Süt and Simit, are affectionate and love to cuddle, though nail trimming presented quite the challenge as 3 out of 4 pets aren't fans of the process. The cats like strolling around on the kitchen surface and dinner table while the dogs aren't allowed on the couches. The home with beautiful interior is well-maintained, with a housekeeper visiting weekly and the landlord taking care of the lawn. Rob also kindly installed a dog blanket in my car to transport the dogs to all these beautiful walks you can find around the area. There are plenty of beautiful walking paths right from the house, which made our 2 hours+ per day exercises quite enjoyable. In summary, my house sitting experience with Rob and Ceyda was very fulfilling. The pets, especially the dogs, require some patience and continued training, but they are eager to learn and lovely to be around. I wish Rob and Ceyda the best in their ongoing efforts with these adorable animals.
I had a great time here with the cats and around town! The Shadow and Ziggy are very friendly and curious cats. The apartment is located on the hill in the Bernal Heights area of SF. Nice hiking around. Good neighborhood. Lots of public transportation options. Communication with Amy went great, instructions were very clear. I would like to thank Amy and Darren and would definitely recommend to pet sit here.
