Amanda
My daughter and I sat for Amanda. We had a wonderful time caring for Milo, Snugs and the chickens! Walks with Milo were fun with beautiful scenery to enjoy. Snugs is such a cuddly cat who loves to purr. Thank you Amanda for sharing your lovely pets and home.

My stay at this beautiful home in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, was an absolute delight. Nestled amidst the breathtaking mountains, the location offered easy access to hot springs, charming restaurants, and the warmest community. The homeowner was incredibly accommodating, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. Additionally, the presence of the sweet and affectionate cat, Chia, added a touch of coziness to this already cozy home. I wholeheartedly recommend this house sit for anyone seeking a perfect blend of natural beauty, hospitality, and some kitty snuggles.

Daryls home was the perfect introduction to Tennessee. I really cannot say a single disappointing thing about this sit other than wishing it was longer lol. As soon as I arrived, the babies were at the door ready to greet me. I also found lots of little sticky notes for anything I might've been confused about otherwise. I also found the sweetest welcome note from Daryl & family on the dresser. Their dog, Porter is a bit nervous in the beginning so definitely allow her take her own time to come around. You'll slowly start to see that she'll open up and even become maternal towards you as long as you don't try to rush a connection. Tom, their cat, however, opens up right away in an instant - but be on your toes about keeping him from escaping lol 😂 . If you're out enjoying the terrace, you could perhaps use the dog leash as a rope to tie from the door handle over to the railing, and he won't be able to open it and then run away- it will hold for a good 20 minutes before it becomes loose. A little advice for the car-less: always choose Uber over Lyft! I learned quickly that Lyft drivers are not on the road as often as Uber drivers are for this rural area. Also, be sure to have your driver navigate to 1055 instead of the correct number and then voice call to instruct him or her to turn into the path at the mailboxes to the left of that; thats the most surefire way to keep GPS from taking them on a totally different direction or more oddly- a whole other street. Overall, I highly recommend this sit if you are granted the opportunity! It is truly one of a kind! And feels more like Costa Rica than the U.S which was so tranquil!

Daphne
Daphne was a kind & accomodating host, letting us arrive the night before she left. She was available to talk/text throughout the housesit, esp. when one of the pups got sick. We enjoyed our time in Quechee, enjoyed the two pups, and would happily housesit for Daphne again!

Janet
Janet is the perfect hostess; written instructions were clear and the accommodations are delightful. Jerry and Pip are easy to take care of. Janet's bright house is close to many parks and a little stream. Monticello and downtown Charlottesville are minutes away. We would highly recommend this housesit.

What a lovely family; welcoming, kind and thoughtful. They made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my stay and care for their pups.

Their home is comfortable, clean—and very stylish! It is in a great location, in close proximity to the coast and easy access to anything you could possibly desire. Their neighborhood is safe and walkable with a lovely park/playground area including a pool and Tennis/Pickleball courts just up around the corner.

Honey is not only beautiful and smart, she is very sweet (hee hee) and will be your BFF if you play ball with her! Your arm will tire long before she will. Mr. Tea is the cutest thing ever—ooh, that face!!! As a rescue, it took a couple days to earn his trust, but once I did, I usually found him by my side.

The pups are high-energy and eager for their walks and play time at the park or in the back yard. Tea has great fun just chasing Honey. :D

The pups get along very well together, but not so much with other dogs, so we would generally steer clear of other dogs on our walks. They are great protectors and will “sound the alarm” if anyone comes near you or the house. They are good companions and especially enjoy joining you for snuggles on the couch. 🥰
