Rosie + Ryker are high energy, loveable dogs. They like their own attention and sometimes "fight" with each other. They are responsive to firm directions and calm down easily with their own toys or individual attention. The also are obsessed with "catching"/ watching the Gartenschläfer (garden dormice) that live in the rafters. Nicole was awesome and communicative about the dogs, the house, etc. She had snacks, drinks, and fresh sheets + towels sheets ready for me and even did a late pick-up at the train station. (Thank you!) The home is a historic space between 2-small towns; definitely quiet and slower-paced than nearby Stuttgart. Housesitting for Nicole was a great opportunity for me to have a new and unique experience in Germany. Thank you for sharing your home and letting me hangout with the fur-babies!
This was a delightful sit! Bogart and Pippa are affectionate and sweet pups. Bobbie and Steve were generous and gracious hosts. We came the evening before their departure and had the chance to really get to know them. A detailed welcome guide and great communication before and during the sit set us up for a comfortable stay. The home is lovely and they have a greenhouse that became my happy place for a cup of coffee or glass of wine! We look forward to seeing them again next summer!
