Absolutely fantastic! We were so pleased to be selected for this international house-sit. We just loved it!

Burradoo is a very nice part of Bowral, which is a very nice town. People from Sydney escape to this region of pretty tourist towns, very pleasant wineries and peaceful national parks on the weekends and for family holidays. We were privileged to spend 6 enjoyable weeks here, caring for a lovely home and very sweet pets.

Hannah and Brian are the best hosts. They have extensive experience in the hospitality industry and knew intuitively how to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. They are generous and caring and really wanted us to have a good experience in their home and with their pets. We enjoyed a couple of meals with them – one before they left and another after their return. They definitely know the best places to eat and they made great suggestions for activities to keep us busy while they travelled (we even got to be “extras” in a movie that was being filmed locally!). They cared genuinely about our comfort and happiness during our stay. We felt pampered.

The home is a generational family home. It is comfortable and has all the conveniences you’d expect in a nice neighborhood (privacy, plenty of space inside and out, well equipped kitchen, great wifi, gotta mention great water pressure in the shower, etc.).

The pets were a pleasure to care for. Walks with Lewa (Golden Retriever), and Bosso (Cocker Spaniel), along the wide avenues and bike trails in the very nice neighborhood never got boring.

The pups enjoy being outside where they play together enthusiastically and protect the property against possums and any perceived invaders. When they’re inside they are mostly peaceful and enjoy cuddles and naps. Living in a home with teenagers, the dogs are family pets and can be excitable, but they also have sufficient discipline to be cooperative during feeding, walks, and playtime. They have a large fenced yard, which makes playtime and potty breaks really convenient. The yard is a peaceful oasis with various areas (dining table, swinging bench, hammock, grill, picnic table, etc.), for the enjoyment of the lucky house-sitter.

Winnie, the cat, has a cute little bell around her neck that she knows how to ring when her servants are to open the door : ). She likes to catch lizards which she proudly presents. She became very attached to us – following us around the house the way some dogs do.

We had a really enjoyable time – we highly recommend this house-sit and we hope we’ll have the opportunity to return in the future.

We had a wonderful time in David's house with Spot. Unfortunately we didn't manage to meet, but he was very helpful and provided accurate information on how to take care of the house, birds, and above all his wonderful cat Spot! We really enjoyed our time there and hopefully we'll be back one day!

Jen
Jen and Jack have a lovely place, simply a home from home. We were very comfortable and the road is quiet, only a short walk to the Metro and a 5 minutes drive to the seafront. Communication was friendly and clear and we met up for half an hour before they left for their trip. We were shown where everything was and how to care for Luna.
She is just such a loving, friendly little cat, who simply wants to be asleep by your side on the sofa. She never strays from the garden when you let her out and asks to come back in again, when she is ready after 10-15 minutes.
All in all, a fantastic sit and comes highly recommended to our THS colleagues. You will have a wonderful time if lucky enough to be chosen. Thanks again to Jen, Jack and Luna.

I have had a very good house sit looking after their pet cat, Smudge. The house was very comfortable and located in a beautiful part of Buckinghamshire with great walks in leafy fields and bluebell woods. The owners were very kind and hospitable and took the time to introduce me to their pet as well as showing me around the facilities in the house. Looking after Smudge was a pleasure and we bonded pretty well. I would say the house sit was successful and this was partly due to good regular communications between the owners and myself - a welcome guiding hand!

This was a great sit in the middle of the countryside, just south of Ottawa. A vehicle is imperative.
Chance and Six are gorgeous beasts. They were a delight to hang with. We were a little apprehensive about the security training of these German Shepards and of them not knowing us. But we were so wrong! Once we sorted out the drill to use when entering the home, we were all fine. Debra and Robert introduced us to the guys properly and all went very well. We were welcomed into the home a day prior to the start of the sit, allowing ample time everyone to get acquainted.
Debra and Robert made us feel comfortable from the start. They prepared a fabulous supper for us, which we enjoyed in their wonderful outdoor space just beside their heated pool. We had full access to the kitchen and all the contents of the fridge and freezers. Our living spaces, bedroom and bathroom was tidy. There were a couple of rooms where the doors were closed
and we repected that.
There was a camera, in plain sight, in the living room. When we commented on it it was turned off. One of the dog's had been quite ill just recently and had been monitored when the owners weren't home. We had not asked about cameras in our introduction interview.
The house does have a security system that 'sets' automatically during nighttime hours. We managed to trip it twice, due to our own forgetfulness, the 1st night. The owners were very understanding and fortunately they were only one time zone away.
We had a wonderful time doing this short sit and would recommend it to anyone, comfortable with larger breeds.

Marguerite's house is super cute. The house is out of city proper, but it is easy to get into town. It normally took us about 18 minutes to get to Southend.

Cayon and River are so cute when they play together. You can tell how much they care for each other. I really enjoyed watching their interactions.

Thanks for letting us experience Charlotte by staying at your house.
