Colleen was the answer to our prayers! At very short notice she took on our house-sit for the time we needed. She was otherwise committed until the very day we were leaving home, her so we met up in Auckland for just an hour while we travelled South and she headed North to our house. She was so friendly, articulate and professional that we felt reassured and comfortable with trusting her. As it transpired she took exceptional care of our home and Rosie (our cat). Colleen also kept in regular touch with us via e-mail about Rosie and local happenings. Our next door neighbours were very impressed when Colleen baked cup-cakes for them as a welcome gesture! I would have no hesitation in recommending Colleen as a house/pet/sitter.

THE DREAM DOGSITTERS! Meghan & Scott were the best sitters I have found on TH - and have ever found in over 5 years of having a dog. I honestly felt like I should have been paying them for their dog care. They went absolutely above and beyond with Baxter, my lab/ retriever cross and they would definitely be my first choice in the future. They are extremely communicative, reliable and responsible - I felt completely at ease leaving Baxter and my flat in their care for a full month. Baxter adored them (and I think is now missing them) and they respected all of my rules (or lack of!) for Baxter, like letting him on all the furniture, which I really appreciated. They have a genuine love for animals and it was clear that Baxter’s happiness and well-being was their no1 priority. Meghan and Scott went the extra mile looking after the flat, leaving me incredibly thoughtful gifts, a completely spotless flat (with fresh bedsheets and towels) and taking in packages throughout the stay. I would welcome them back as dog sitters, or indeed, as new friends, without hesitation. I can’t recommend Meghan and Scott enough - thank you both so much!

We got a bunch of cute photos of Sam. Martina even created a playhouse for him. She watered the plants and cleaned the litter box. I felt comfortable leaving the house to her and overall just had a very nice experience.

Diana was wonderful with my kitties. I truly felt relaxed being away, knowing that my kitties were cared for. Diana was in touch with me, sending pictures/videos that conveyed her care for the them, and that they were very comfortable with her. House was clean and orderly upon return. Thank you Diana! Amy and Justo were fantastic sitters! Communication was excellent from the get-go; right after a short and warm video meeting with Amy, we were sure they would be ideal for the sit. Amy offered to arrive the evening before the day of our trip to make sure we had enough time to do a proper handover and rundown of the apartment and Dante's routine. Justo joined her shortly after we left. We left reassured that our cat and place would be cared for, and, as a result, we could enjoy our little break carefree. Amy and Justo sent regular updates and cute photos of our kitten - they even took him out for a little walk. When we returned, we found a spotlessly clean apartment, a pleased and well-rested Dante, and even some thoughtful presents. We thank Amy and Justo for their dedication, care, and consideration. We recommend them highly for your next sit - they are welcome back to take care of our home and pet anytime!

May and JB are such great dog-sitters! Great communication, and really nice updates of so many pics and wonderful home made videos (with sound tracks!!). They go on so many long walks with Arthur, and we can tell he really loves to spend time with them! Absolutely highly recommended!

I recently had the pleasure of having Rose and Stijn take care of our dog, Puk, and our house while we were on holiday, and I can't recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning, the initial contact with them was both easy and professional, setting a positive tone for the entire experience. Rose and Stijn took care of Puk as if she were their own, giving her all the love and attention she needed. We were particularly impressed by how they handled some unexpected health issues with Puk, taking her to the vet promptly and ensuring she received the necessary medications. Anna did a wonderful job looking after our pets and our home. The house was spotless when we returned home and we were delighted by the flowers that she had prepared to welcome us home. While we were away, Anna sent us daily photographs and videos of the dogs and cats, which really helped put our minds at peace. Our pets were spoilt with 2-3 walks per day and lots of cuddles, if the photos are anything to go by. I have no hesitation in recommending Anna to others seeking a house/dog sitter, and I will reach out to Anna if we need similar services in future.

We had a very good experience with Mia and Quint. It was their first official house/pet sit and they did great! They made sure to ask all the questions to ensure that everything was going smoothly. They are a lovely couple, very easy to communicate with. The house was very clean and our two cats were very happy and relaxed when we got back! We'd happily have them house sit for us again :)
