A fantastic family to look after your pets and home. We were initially a little nervous about our first experience using this sitting service but soon after we were introduced to Barry and Doreen my worries subsided. We were unsure about having families with young children as sitters because Alfie, our dog is full of energy and on first meeting can get very excited which involves a lot of tail wagging and some jumping up which we are trying to train out. Barry and Doreen were keen to be our sitters so we had a FaceTime call which enabled us to meet them and them meet our pets, I explained my concerns about children and the family were very happy to still sit for us and I'm so glad they were! On arrival we had a couple of hours overlap before we left to introduce the pets and we could see instantly that they were a family of animal lovers. The children were keen to learn how to care for our pets and both Barry and Doreen were great with our elderly cat that requires medication and instantly bonded with Alfie our dog. The communication from Barry and Doreen was great leading up to the sit regarding us all booking our travel arrangements. While we were away they sent us regular updates about how the pets were doing which was lovely to hear and reassuring that all was well. On arriving home the house was beautifully clean and some lovely touches were a returning gift of some chocolates and a posy of locally picked flowers. We were also very grateful that our garden had been kept alive as it had been quite warm at times while we were on holiday. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Barry and his family. They are perfect house sitting guests and we are very grateful that they selected our pets and home to look after. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay looking after Poodle's Merlot and Darcie and the lovely home of Beth and Toby. My husband and Merlot became great mates, Mertlot is a very affectionate dog who gave him lots of cuddles and got lots in return. Darcie reminded me so much of our little poodle Nicky, her personality so similar it wasn't funny. She loves the ball being thrown for her as Beth warned and doesn't get tired easily of it, but I did try to outdo her to see who would tire first and I only won a couple of times. Toby and Beth made us very Welcome, communication with them was nice and easy. We enjoyed taking the dogs to the sandy beaches of Coolum and Mooloolaba off lead, with walks to other areas making our stay even more enjoyable. We even managed a couple of swims in their beautiful pool. We would happily fly from NZ to sit for them again.

Penina
This was my first travel out of country since covid and it was a delight. Usually I dont miss cats much after, however these 2 cats have a place in my heart. Samus and Tyger are both a bit skittish at first but soon we were all spending time relaxing in the peaceful environment and playing games. They are very well behaved and quiet and dont cause mischief. The turtle was super - he got to know my voice and when I spoke in the morning he would come out for food. Penina's house backs onto a garden and the birds and trees were so lovely after along winter. Penina communicated well and fast! I can only hope I get a chance to return!

What a lovely stay! We were really comfortable. There is a lot to see and do in the area. The weather wasn't great, though, so we mostly stayed at "home", relaxing. The house is lovely and spacious, so the floofs had plenty of space for when they got the zoomies! They were soooo funny. Skadi took time to warm to us, but soon accepted strokes and cuddles. She's gorgeous! Kaldr and I bonded immediately. He had us in stitches with his antics. At four months old he is very leggy, and judging by the size of his feet he's going to be a big boy!
Gail and I communicated easily and frequently. I highly recommend this sit, and we'd be back in a heartbeat, if possible.
Thank you, Gail and Harry.

We were only at Valley Cottage for 3 days but in that short time fell totally in love with Bobby and Spike. Bobby is the gentlest dog we have ever cared for, he loves a cuddle and was so trusting and obedient . Spike , an 8 week old ginger kitten, was a new addition to the family and proved to be a bit of an escape artist but was so cute and affectionate that he was instantly forgiven. Harold was no trouble at all and amazed us with the amount if greens he could eat each day ! The house is set in beautiful Suffolk countryside and is very comfortable . Both Sally and Justin were very welcoming and told us everything we needed to know about the house and pets before they left . Al in all a wonderful sit, thankyou Sally for sharing your home with us .

I really enjoyed my stay at Madelyn's. The place is cozy, bright and clean. As for Charlie? He's an incredibly friendly and calm animal, always eager to have a pet. I'm going to miss the moments when he stretches out on the sofa waiting for a belly rub.

The communication with Nick was good from the beginning and the day before I went to get the keys where he explained everything in detail. The house is clean, friendly and warm, and is located a short distance from East Acton from where you can easily reach central London. Coco is an easy cat to handle but at the same time she does not like to be touched, most of the time she is in the house. Last night, she came on the sofa to watch the TV with me, and she let me gave a lot of cuddles.
