We really enjoyed our time at Shane and Wayne's - Joey, Bobby and Pheonix the cat were wonderful company. Heathcote is ideal for access to Sydney, Wollongong and all points in between. Shane and Wayne are a wonderful couple, even gave us lunch before they set off on their break.
Danny the dreamboat. He's a gorgeous boy! Super gentle, velvety, funny, affectionate and beautiful. He's very curious and loves to watch everything you are doing. He enjoys exploring cupboards, so if he seemed a bit bored I'd open a wardrobe door so he could have a trip to Narnia :) He loves company, playing with his toy collection, and being groomed. He's an absolute joy to spend time with. The flat is great - very clean, new, easy to live in, comfortable and pleasing. It's tastefully furnished and decorated, with beautiful finishes and lovely linens. Location is good - near the station, with very frequent trains that get you to Waterloo in 15 minutes. Earlsfield has independent cafes and shops, plus M&S, Tescos and Sainsburys all nearby. Shannon is lovely, very friendly, commmunicative and helpful. We met before the sit and she showed me details of the flat. She also sent me helpful videos. Highly recommended sit, and I'd absolutely return. Miss you Danny boy! Til next time. x
What a wonderful time in Geneva! Caitlin and Phil are friendly and welcoming hosts and their beautiful apt is cosy, well appointed and central to everything. By far the best part was Townes! A glorious Siberian who is so affectionate and snuggly and so much fun to be with. We spent a lot of time playing with all his toys and snuggling, he’s a real treat. I’m happy to return any time and highly recommend this sit. Merci beaucoup Caitlin, Phil and Townes.
I can tell Haley is a good person with a kind heart, however this sit was disappointing on a few levels. I was warned in the post for this sit that Miggy the cat could be a bit “bitey” when his energy was up and needed to play, and that after burning some energy off with some wand-toy action he would be calm and sweet, but unfortunately that wasn’t my experience. Miggy welcomed me very friendly into the apartment when I first arrived, but quickly turned what I can only describe as aggressive. I immediately got the toys out and we played for a good 45 minutes but when I’d put the toys down and he’d come closer for petting he’d suddenly turned aggressive again like a switch was flipped. His hair would stand up on his back and he’d attack my feet, legs, or whatever he could get to. I gave him some treats and then retreated to the bedroom for awhile to give him some space. When I came back out to try again, he leapt at me and bit my forearm so hard that he drew blood. I contacted Haley and she was very apologetic. She arranged for her friend to come and care for Miggy and I left the sit on the same day I arrived. My other note was on the cleanliness of the apartment. Haley took the time to change the bedding and left me clean towels which was appreciated, but the bathroom and kitchen were not up to the standard that I feel they should be for someone staying in your home.
I had a lovely stay at Rachel's house. Kiska and Kenzo are great cats. Kenzo is a little bit shy but very nice. Kiska is playful and fun. House has a very lovely feel with a nice small garden. It takes around 40 minutes to get to downtown. Sudbury is a safe and nice neighborhood
Antonia was very good with communication about Oscar and thier house and the sit, she gave detailed clear instructions on his care and his needs. Anotina and Yannick were very hospitable and welcoming, ensuring i had everything i nedded and gave lots of opportunities to ask any questions. They were also very generous providing treats for me for the weekend. Oscar was a lovely companion, always by my side as he enjoys company. He can be aniouxs at times but if you are patient with him, understand his needs and follow all of Antonias instructions he is very friendly and easy going. Loves a snuggle and a nap. All in all I had a lovely cosy and relaxing weekend in Devon, and would happily sit for Oscar again.
