All the instructions were detailed upon arrival as well as the home guide. Communication was a breeze with Roo! I really enjoyed my stay! Both cats are really low maintenance and super lovely, especially Brad. Who was my best friend after a week of hiding (he needs some time to adapt, but once he comes, he never leaves) :) The apartment is big and cozy. Kudos for the bed mattress, I couldn't get out of bed how comfortable it was :) The location of the apartment is also great, just 10-15 min from the super beautiful downtown! And since the windows are faced into the yard it was always quiet and peaceful. I was also able to use the garage which was also perfect. Roo, cats, apartment, location, city itself, 20 min to the beach - highly recommended combo! I'll definitely come back if I have a chance :)
Cindy and Andrew were the perfect hosts- their communication was great, hospitality very generous and their well behaved black lab, Suki a joy to look after. Suki had a great time and bonded very well with Jess, who taught Suki to swim in better style. It was a very hot week so we kept to shady walks and watered the garden and trees in the orchard areas. All the sheep were present and correct when we left so that was good news with this being our first housesit. The farm is quietly situated in rolling Wiltshire countryside and provided lots of lovely walks and interesting villages to visit. Suki travelled very well in the car and behaved well with other dogs. We would highly recommend this Housesit and hope to return
This was such a great sit, Shelley and Genie have such a beautiful home it really feels like a luxury to be there. They have an awesome sense of style and all the details around the home just take it over the top. Millie and Gus are so sweet and really couldn't be easier to take care of. I would not hesitate to sit for them again and will definitely look out for future opportunities to hang out with these precious babies again. We already miss them!
Toby and Polly are really lovely people with a charming home sandwiched between a pub and a cafe. Their dog, Buddy, is something of a local celebrity due to his friendly and playful attitude as well as impressive fast running. Indie the cat leads a separate life upstairs and is a very sweet and affectionate companion. We had a lovely time and I can recommend this sit to others looking for nice walks or perhaps a bit of downtime in the country.
My partner Wayne and I were recently looking after the lovely dachshund Biggy for a little over a week in Kennington/ London, and It was a really great house sitting experience! :) Biggy's such a lovely, happy and cuddly pup that it wasn't hard to fall in love with him. He loves his walkies (usually twice a day with a shorter walkie in the morning and a longer one in the afternoon/evening). Wayne and I were lucky to have great weather on most days, so we were able to explore all the nearby parks with Biggy. Biggy's friendly with humans but can be sceptical about other dogs, so we followed Kat's and Chris's advice to keep some distance from them and had no issues whatsoever. When at home, Biggy loves cuddles and napping next to you on the sofa, as well as playing with his toys (including fetching them). And he will use every opportunity to show you his love by giving you 'kisses', haha! :) Biggy's owners Kat and Chris are a very lovely, easy-going and hospitable couple, and our communication before, during and after the house sit was always perfect. They live in a cozy basement flat with a cool layout in Kennington with all kinds of shops and eateries in walking distance, as well as public transport (buses, tube) and several nice parks (the closest is Kennington Park which is great!). The apartment itself has all amenities you could ask for including reliable wifi, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, a nice bedroom with a comfy large bed, a desk to work from, and a lovely little backyard which is great on sunny days ... :) All in all, an awesome house sit, and if you, fellow house sitters, get the chance to look after Biggy, don't think twice! We highly recommend it!!! Thank you so much for such a great experience, Kat and Chris, and for your hospitality! We loved looking after your cute Biggy, and we'd love to return in the future! :)
I'll cherish the 4~5 weeks I stayed at Amy's home. Amy was a fantastic host, she made every aspect of my stay comfortable and fun and provided everything I needed to care for her adorable chickens and two wonderful dogs. Willow and Wren are such loving dogs, they are also very smart and independent. I formed a fast bond with both of them, they are always fun to be around, and when it’s not active fun it’s peaceful to have them around as well. The chicken are no trouble and easy to take care for, it's important to be mindful to lock their gate properly. They're utterly cute, friendly and lay delicious eggs! Amy's home is in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood, mins away from public transportation, stores, parks, and other amenities. I'd be happy to return if our schedules line up again. Thank you, Amy!
