We loved Luna, the beautiful and playful cat in residence. Her owners have a lovely well organized home in a most beautiful setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Thank you Tom and Elizabeth!
What a great home, family and pack! Lisa is a great communicator, and she and Mike and the kids made me feel welcome from the start. Their home is spotless, no easy task considering two adults, 3 teens and 3 dogs call it home. The backyard is made for family fun with a heated pool, bar, brick pizza oven and plenty of seating to take in the mountain views. The neighborhood walking paths are great for strolling alone or with the dogs. The dogs are sweet as can be and listen well. Misty is possibly the largest canine I’ve ever met, a gentle giant, so well mannered. Meatball and Snowball bark when you first come in, but settle down quickly, and love to sit on your lap and get belly rubs. All three dogs come when called, eat all their food immediately when given, ring a bell when it’s time to go out, and are well-mannered, perfect ambassadors for their species. I would absolutely sit for them again if asked!
We really enjoyed our stay at Tanya's with her two sweet dogs, Jack and Bella. The dogs were excellent and no trouble to care for at all. We spent time in the beautiful yard, reading under the pear tree, and listening to the cacophony of birdsong. Tanya was a lovely host, and I hope our paths cross again.
We had a wonderful stay at Lis house. The communication was great and she had a lot of recommendations for us. She was always carrying and helping. Finn is such a good boy. We did a lot of exploring around the island and could always bring Finn with us. Duncan is a quite small but lovely city. We would be happy to stay with Lis again!
Generous and friendly hosts, Sue and Matt took us out to the pub to brief us on Scout and Alfie who were lots of fun and easy to look after. The detailed briefing (and a delicious meal!) included local info and sites to see and dog friendly pubs. Weather was "disappointing" but the locale is great and the house has everything you could want. There is nothing friendlier than a wet spaniel! Thanks for trusting us to look after the boys.
Janette was so sweet and communicative!Molly and Murphy are such adorable and sweet cats, and we had a great time watching them. Would definitely sit again :)
