We absolutely loved our stay here. We we’re super well received by Alice and Mike, we had a very nice bed to sleep in and great surroundings. The cats were such a delight to be around and gave the house life and charm. We don’t know where to start nor end with all the good things we have to say about them. We really came to love them and their different personalities throughout our stay. The city center is just a short bus ride away with loads of exciting things to experience.
We truly enjoyed our time in Santa Clarita with Molly & Missy. Karen and John made us feel so welcomed, their home warm and comfortable. We arrived a day early so that we could spend time with all of them. Karen made a delicious dinner for us and we spent the afternoon learning the ropes. Molly and Missy enjoy the outdoors. One of their regular walks is a loop through part of the canyon which is situated close by. It's a beautiful path and we walked it a couple of times most days. Molly apparently likes to play the hose game, but it was too cold for that while we were there. She immediately goes to every hose that she has access to while she is out, which we found amusing. Missy just loves to be outside in general. She was ready and anxious for our walks and happy to be just in the yard while at home. Molly took to us very quickly while Missy was a little more reserved. Every day Missy would do something that would show us that we were earning her trust. After a couple of days she realized that we were ok and was actively searching us out. We would love to return some day and would highly recommend this family for others who are trusted housesitters.
