My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Charmaine's apartment in Edinburgh. She and her family were very communicative, and went out of their way to make our arrival and stay easy and pleasant, arranging a hotel stay for us the night before, and sharing a delicious meal in their home. They very kindly allowed us to have our granddaughter stay with us for a few days--a wonderful opportunity for us all. The location gave us easy access to a large park and the highlights of the city. Their charming cats were easy to care for and we grew attached to them.
We truly enjoyed our time at Suzie’s! The house and garden are beautiful, the dogs are adorable and Suzie is one of those people who restore faith in humanity. She is one of the nicest people we have ever met! We are going back for another sit in a couple of weeks and we can’t wait to be with Miss Tilly, Mr. Dylan and Benji again! 🐾❤️
What a lovely couple to sit for. They were keen to make sure it all went well and had covered everything in their 'welcome pack'. It's always good to be involved helping them ensure they get that crucial info right. I was glad to be able to assist new members. Nomi cat was shy, but a few treats meant she realised we were friends. We did try playing with the mouse on a string, but she wasn't that bothered about it. She is a sweet cat, no trouble at all. The house is in a lovely area if you enjoy walking. The Long Man of Wilmington is at the end of the road with a lovely walk up to him. Cuckoo Trail goes through the town. Eat at The Brtish Queen about a 20-minute walk away. Mains £12 and plenty of it. I don't want to make it sound too good because I want to be invited back! Thanks to nice people, who even very thoughtfully left bread and goodies for me. So kind.
We had wonderful time taking care of sweet Lilly and also meeting her owners. They welcomed us warmly into their beautiful home the evening before they left for vacation. Elise cooked a delicious dinner and they made us feel so comfortable, just like old friends. Lilly is such a sweet girl and very easy to take care of. She sleeps a lot during the day but we noticed around 4pm, she has a spurt of energy and wants to play. It was the same in the evening around dinner time as well. It was fun seeing her personality come out. Her walks are not very far at all and are purely sniffing and potty breaks. Don't expect to work up a sweat walking Lilly ;-) She does like to run down the hill, which is walking at a normal speed for us humans. She sleeps through the night and gets out of bed when you do. We had a staring contest on our last morning while we were both in bed. I gave in and got out of bed and she followed suit. We love the surrounding area as it so beautiful and so many routes to hike or ride a bike. My Swiss husband loved the amount of bakeries in Unterägeri and the people in the town were all very nice. I hope we get the opportunity to come sit for Lilly again!
Frederics home is beautiful situated an near the train station. The house has a warm atmosphere and so has the family. Minnie is the sweetest cat I have met so far and especially loved by the little daughter. Around Warngau there are many beautiful cities one can visit. Bad Tölz, Bayrischzell, Tegernsee, Berchtesgaden, Salzburg, Muenchen......
Tanja's home was lovely, and her pets even more so! Everyone loves to snuggle here...I had both dogs and one of the cats sitting on/next to me pretty often and it was awesome. Cats do take a day or two to warm up, but once they do, they are just so loving. Dogs are well behaved and crate trained, which made it easy to leave for a couple of hours if needed and for bedtime. The neighborhood is quiet, walkable, and neighbors are friendly, and it's easy to get to stores & restaurants nearby. Tanja was communicative if I had any questions, and her home was well appointed, with comfortable guest quarters and a lovely backyard. I would highly recommend this sit, especially if you love snuggles!

Tonight was our 1st visit, we will definitely be returning. My little puppy looks great, smells wonderful and is happy. The atmosphere was very friendly and the woman who did the grooming was pleasant. Over all a very wonderful experience.
I live almost an hour away now and will still always take my pups here because of how highly I think of this facility. I always leave knowing they receive the best of care and the team there is wonderful. Even if you aren’t looking for a new groomer I highly recommend you give this place a try. The people and the service are incredible. You won’t be disappointed.

Took my dogs 3 Yorkshire for their spring grooming needs. I just moved up here from MA and needed to find a new groomer for my pups needs. What a great job she did. Woodlawn is an amazing family owned business that treated our dog like he was their own. He was happy to go to daycare and we knew he was always well cared for for over night visits. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I could not recommend them enough
My dog loves Woodlawn Pet Resort and can't wait to get there in the morning. He thinks he's the king of doggy daycare, as he's been going there for 7 years now and thinks he runs the show. I drive up to the door, and he runs in at breakneck speed, barking the whole way. He loves it!
My 7 month old female mix breed started daycare a few weeks ago and after the third day she couldn’t wait to get back. I love that Woodlawn Kennel posts photos so I can see how fun the dogs are having and how my dog interacts with the others. There’s also a wonderful store with high-quality pet supplies and treats. Very easy to park and bring your dog inside. I’m looking forward to boarding my dog when I’m away. Using the daycare so that she’s used to it before boarding is such a great option.
I have been taking my dog to Woodlawn daily for over a month now while I recover from surgery, and I have noticed a huge change in his temperament! He is calmer, sleeps and eats better, and overall seems like a happier and more social boy. Andrea and her team at Woodlawn know exactly how to strike that balance between just enough exercise and too much. As well, their hours are extremely convenient, and the setting itself is peaceful and beautiful. I had originally intended this as a short-term solution during my recovery, but will now continue, as I've seen this huge pay-off in his wellbeing. Also, I used the boarding option once he was used to daycare, and it was absolutely seamless. And it was wonderful to see photos of him on Instagram, to know he was doing well with his pack!
We’ve been using Woodlawn for many years. They have always taken good care of our dogs. Our current dog is almost 14 and started going to doggy day care here as a puppy. He still loves to go and gets very excited when he arrives.
I adopted an older dog about 2 years ago but he does have a lot of energy and he really enjoys a few days per month a day care. I have also boarded him at Woodlawn and never have to worry because he receives excellent care.
My dog looks forward to going to daycare and even boarding at Woodlawn. The staff is always extremely helpful. I had never boarded my dog before so when I called for information they took the time to explain even thing to me as well as answer all of my questions and even make recommendations when I am stuck between choosing services. They staff is always friendly, you can tell they really care about the work they do. We’ve done daycare, boarding, and grooming with them. I’d recommend all services they are a 10/10

We had to find somewhere last minute (and for the first time) because the people that were going to take care of our 9 month old puppy bailed on us. I would consider this place to be average, not a dump, but no real wow factors. I gave them a less than average review however because our puppy who is up-to-date on shots still managed to contract kennel cough in the three days he was there.
Our puppies are always well taken care of while boarding. They also get groomed right before pick up so that they are clean and fresh to take home.
Went on vacation out of the country so we boarded our 2 dogs here on the recommendation of a neighbor. The dogs were well cared for but one of our dogs tags were lost and the staff kind of blew it off saying that this happens quite often. They should warn customers ahead of time or at least when you check in. Now we don't have any tags for our pet. The attitude of the staff member was a turn off and we are not sure we would use them in the future. UPDATE: Sendaishi called today stating they found the tags... Went to pick them up so we are glad that we don't have to go through the hassle of replacing them Thanks for finding them.
I brought our dog here for a day visit in hopes that it would be successful so we could board him a few weeks later. We had tried one other facility a few weeks prior but it was not for him and the visit ended quickly bc he was stressed (Great facility though). I thought maybe an outdoor facility would be a little less overwhelming for him so we decided to give this place a shot. I dropped my dog off for about 3-4 hours. When I arrived to pick him up, I spoke to the woman manning the counter and asked how things went, she told me that my dog had "great day". I was stoked. She called out to the yard to have one of the staff bring my dog in, and I asked to you use their restroom, which she said was in the building next door. As I was walking to the neighboring building, one of the staff came by with my dog and his reaction made it obvious I was his human. The staff member then proceeded to tell me that he had an awful time. That he " sat and shook in the corner the corner the whole time and showed his teeth to fellow pups who wanted to play". I was astounded and took the staff member for their word since this behavior was exactly what we experienced when we tried the indoor facility week's prior. I'm fine knowing now that my dog is not a good candidate for her doggie daycare. However, I would not expect who I believe was the owner or at least manager to lie about my dog's experience in order to grab my money. I'm so thankful that the staff member who was walking my dog out let me know about his horrible day so that we didn't bring him back there for a week of boarding.
When my husband and I went to pick up our yellow lab after our vacation, they couldn't locate him.Then the girl at front desk realized they must of sent him home with someone else! Told us that their was another yellow lab there that looked very much like ours and an honest mistake by the girl that brought him out. I also put the blame on the gentleman who took our dog home. My dog is an 8 year old male while his is a 13 year old female. How can you not tell you have the wrong dog...especially where he made a comment about how he thought it was strange when his female raised her leg to pee! Didn't he notice anything else?At the same time, the worker who brought my dog out and handed over to a total stranger is as fault as well .How do they keep track of who dogs belong to? Luckily, after over an hour, we were reunited with our dog, and all we got was that we are sorry.? Really? We have been taking our dogs to sendaishi for over 20 years and had another incident a few years ago. But nothing as bad as this . This was the icing on the cake Feel like so much could of gone wrong .I'm never taking my dog back!
We boarded our 3-year-old Schnau Tzu at Sendaishi Pet Resort for the first time in May 2024 while we went on vacation for a week. We were extremely pleased with every aspect of the process. Before making our decision, we were allowed to tour the resort, and we received plenty of information about how it operates. The facility was spotless every time we visited, and the staff was consistently friendly and knowledgeable. Our Schnau Tzu seemed happy and well-cared-for when we picked him up. We will definitely be using Sendaishi’s boarding services again for any future needs. Thank you, Sendaishi Pet Resort, for taking such good care of our boy!
We always board our dogs with Sendashi, this time two of mine got into it a bit, they are Great Danes and one got a bad cut, I was contacted immediately and we were able to let our vet see what had happened and the staff took care of making sure our girl was taken care off, I can’t say how much i trust the staff to care for my dogs, it’s the only place i trust
My Dane has been here on several occasions and he seems to enjoy it! The staff is wonderful and my dog gets his meds and is well cared for. He suffers from anxiety so he has a hard time without us. But each time he goes, he seems to do better. Rachael is one of the amazing workers and cares for Ranger. He adores her and she takes the time outside with him to play and get fresh air. He just spent 10 days there while we moved and he didnt have one accident.He has at times has due to his anxiety. The prices are very fair and the care is great. I recommend this place to many of my friends.

My dog Lilly loves the daycare. She used to ask for mile walks when I got home from work, but now all she does is sleep after dinner. Even when I had to board her there for a week they took excellent care of her. She looked great with her bandanna and little bow ties the groomer put on her after her bath!
We were able to secure boarding kinda at the last minute. That was a huge bonus. The thing that prompted me to write the review was how happy my dog was when we picked him up. You can tell he was treated well while he was there. Thank you Bill and your entire staff !!
First impression, very rough around the edges and quite rude. As the weeks went by not so bad. Then months and all they did was complain about my dog when I'd drop off or pick up. The reasons were he ate poop and liked to play too much, too much energy. Wow, thought that was the reason I was paying you. To help him and play? I never expected them to to handle the poop thing. But too much energy? Any bad news...they couldn't come up with anything to my face at least. Last time I picked him up the lead Lenka advised "he likes to play with other dogs but he is probably going to have to get bit in the face a few times before he learns anything." Unbelievable. DO NOT waste your time, your pet's life or your money at this place.
Lynn was absolutely amazing with our cat, Lazarus. She gave him TONS of love and treats while we were away for 5 days! We really appreciated her kindness, compassion, and reliability for our cat. I contacted The Cats meow for pet care for an upcoming trip. At first she was not in my service area in another town but I was just close enough she agreed to meet and see. I appreciated the consideration to meet in my area. I also contacted way in advance and she was very prompt in meeting at our arranged date. I have an older cat and she was really great with her. She seemed very caring and I could tell she was going to be a great fit from the meet and greet. The process was smooth and easy and I had no worries on leaving my cat in her care. I never worried that my girl was cared for because I got updated and videos when she arrived. Great service and I would no doubt use her service again.

Lynn is amazing and really does care about the wellbeing of the animals (cats). One of my cat becomes timid and hides but Lynn made sure that she eats those days I was away. We recently needed care for our cat while on a 10 day vacation. We have never left him for this long and we were very nervous as he needs daily medications. He is very shy and usually runs and hides from anyone that isn’t myself or my fiancé, which made us nervous for his medication. From the second we met Lynn, I knew our boy would be in good hands. Our cat knew it too because he would snuggle and play with Lynn everyday, something he has never done with a stranger, which shocked us in the best way. Lynn was able to give him his meds without complications, which was our biggest concern. Lynn was fantastic about following our instructions about food, toys, ect. We looked forward to the videos and updates Lynn sent everyday, it really helped to ease our minds while away from him. I will forever be recommending The Cats Meow to anyone who needs care for their pets, and will definitely be calling her again for our next trip! Anyone’s fur babies would be lucky to have Lynn care for them!

I was so happy to find the Cat’s Meow! I was traveling for a week and needed someone to take care of my four kitties. From the minute Lynn came to meet the kitties I knew they would be in good hands. Most are usually shy around new people but they came right out to see her. It is obvious how much she loves animals and loves what she does. Having the daily videos and knowing they were fed, had fresh water and clean boxes allowed me to enjoy my vacation and not worry about them. I will definitely use Lynn’s services again if we need to be away from the kitties.

Liked this place at first but they will lie to you saying your dogs doing perfect with no behavioral issue only to then give them a bad report card and require you to bring them more. If you move and need to switch day cares with credits left they refuse to give the refund due to it not being a last minute move which is fine but with 8 credits left you think they would at-least give some money back. Nice staff shitty owner's bad report because my dog had the “zoomies” when he got there. Give me a break what two year old dog does not have a bunch of energy when he first arrives to a place with a bunch of other dogs isn’t that why people take there dogs to day-care. Seems like they give the bad report just to try and get more money out of you.
Our experience at Kamp K9 has been absolutely amazing. Harper loves all the Kamp Kounselors and they love her just as much! I recommend this daycare every time i see someone looking. Harper has made so many friends and she is so tired when she comes home from playing all day! A tired doodle is a good doodle!! Look at that smile!
We are Kamp K9 fans! Is there a place to give more than 5 stars in excellence for Kamp K9, if so, where is it? I have only wonderful things to report about this new business that started mid-March, just as COVID was shutting down most businesses. This essential service is a small doggie daycare with loads of attention to detail and Jenn, the owner, persevered and stayed open and for that I’m so appreciative because we really needed her. Why? Our little Jack Russell, Tucker, was killed by a car at the end of February and it devastated our family, including our other young dog Bowie who was left alone, confused and without her playmate. Bowie is a dog that plays with another dog and she was so lonely and scared because Tucker gave her the confidence to be with other dogs, without him she was lost. Kamp K9 to the rescue. Jenn is always ready to give me feedback on Bowie’s progress and she makes sure Bowie is playing with other appropriately behaved dogs so as not to make her fearful, and I can also watch Bowie on Kamp K9’s live webcams. Bowie needed other dogs, even just a few, and under Jenn’s constant supervision and compassion she began to get involved and play again. Her timidity and shyness has all but evaporated and now she really looks forward to her weekly visits to Kamp K9 to play with her fellow Kampers. It’s because of Jenn’s care and attention to EACH DOG’S NEEDS that Bowie has shown real improvement. Thank you so much Kamp K9 and Jenn for helping to heal our little family.
Bowie has the absolute BEST time at Kamp! She falls asleep within two minutes of driving home. The staff are knowledgeable, responsible, and truly care about our pups’ safety! I’ve never loved a doggy daycare more!!

We have been bringing our pup to Kamp K9 for a month now and I cannot say enough GREAT things about it. Our fur baby is a really good dog at home but I wasn’t sure how he would be at daycare. From our first meeting with the team at Kamp K9 I felt so comfortable and at ease. They got right down with him and showed him as much love as we did and he took right to them. We got the tour of the place and we were really impressed. I couldn’t wait to have him start. He has a lot of energy so I am so thankful for a place/staff that I trust my dog with to get exercise and love while he is there. She has helped to get him adjusted to the pup pool and plays ball tirelessly with all the pups there. Now he can’t wait for the days to go to Kamp. I highly recommend Kamp K9 - they are compassionate and truly care about our pup.
Kamp K9 has been so incredible for our Great Dane, Lilly! She loves seeing Miss Jenn and gets excited in the morning when we ask her if she wants to go to daycare. If you let them know a certain command that you are working on with your pup, they will work on the command with your pup! We love all the pictures and Pawties our pup participates in! Any money you pay towards your pup going truly goes back into the facility! And you can tell! Cannot say enough pawsative things about this establishment!

They take such good care of our boy Gus. He has been boarded there a few times and goes 2-3 times a week for daycare. The owners know the dogs and do a great job of keeping them active and monitoring them to be sure they are with the right play group.
They are amazing, my very high energy, very needy and particular rescue pup Harper has been going here since we got her 3 years ago, she looks forward to daycare and is treated like the princess she is at Birch Hill! She is typically people reactive and has done amazing here with the staff, they go above and beyond for her!
Birch Hill is awesome! I have 2 dobermans and have boarded them there multiple times and never have to worry! They are super accommodating and very reasonable with their pricing. Fist time we used this facility, I have know the owner for a few years so when my wife and I had the opportunity for a vacation we knew where we could trust to leave our Lab/Shep mix for a week. We let Mike know that Lacey had some dog anxiety and he gave me plenty of updates, especially satisfying was that our dog was able to make friends. She had a great time for 7 days, she was obviously tired of all her play time. Won't hesitate to use Birch Hill again!

Birch Hill Resort has exceeded our expectations and how happy my guy was and so energetic when I picked him up showed that they did such an amazing job caring for him! They’re reliable, professional and very caring.
Our German Shepherd puppy, Arya, has been going to Birch Hill Kennels for daycare for a little over a month. They take such good care of her. We were worried she’d not enjoy it since she loves to bark at other dogs and people, but we have noticed such an improvement with her. She is excited when we arrive to get out and see them and is always exhausted from the fun she has there when we pick her up. The owners are so nice and really do care about the dogs in their care. I would recommend them to anyone.
Wow! Just wow! We Have an 11 week puppy and had a date night planned for overnight. Birch hill took her (on barely any notice, when I was sure I’d have to cancel our hotel). The kennels were clean, the owners and staff We’re friendly and professional, and my pup loved it! She’s curled up on her doggie bed all tuckered out from her stay. Can’t wait til she’s old enough to get her shots so she’s able to do doggie day care!! Thank you Birch Hill!
1st time boarding my 1st puppy. Lots of nerves, he did fantastic though. Quick responses when checking in as well. Highly recommend!
