Amy is a great host, down to earth and easy to communicate with. The apartment is in an amazing location, only a few minutes walk to the beach and the bondi coastal walk. I had a great time in Belfast, their house is super beautiful and the communication with the owners was clear, they were very flexible and understanding. The dogs are two, Ziggy is a puppy and can be demanding sometimes (making sure it’s not biting the furniture and so on), I recommend using old clothes as at first he was biting mine often. Later that changed and he started showing much more bond and respect and stopped biting (having a firm attitude is important at first). When Ziggy gets calm he is super cute and will lay on you and fall asleep. Peat is super calm and little demanding, he loves to go on walks and gets super excited also when playing fetch. It is a good place to enjoy the calm environment and nature.
The house is perfectly equipped, tidy, and you can easily find anything you need (extra poop bags, coffee, water bottles, etc). George is the sweetest, so cuddly, and friendly to everyone. There are tons of fun things to do in the area and Kate provides an incredibly comprehensive list of excellent restaurants. She was very responsive when I had questions during the sit. It was all around a great pet sit experience!
I stayed in Lisa’s house for a 4 days. Communication was really good from the beginning, she explained everything. Bon bon took a bit to get to know me, at the beginning she was more into herself but with time we became friends! I would totally recommend then! The home and location are gorgeous too!
Tito was a breeze and extremely perfect to cuddle with!! I would do a sit with Kristie and pup again. Their home was lovely and had great amenities. The space was neat and clean. I would recommend a car or ubers to get around this area, but it’s very close to everything you may need. 👍🏼
Thank you so very much, Christine, for having us! It was a pleasure staying with Zoie and Raja in your comfy apartment. Christine is a lovely host, great communications, info & prep for our stay. If you like to cook, she’s got you covered! Kitty Bleu traveled with Christine, so it was just Zoie & Raja during our sit. Both are very personable; Zoie was shy at first, but really warmed up after the first day and soon we were all great friends. She is such a sweet & funny little girl! Raja (limited eyesight) is very aware of her surroundings, and loves a brushing & cuddle (and treats!). We used to live in Oakland and are familiar with both the great & not so great of the city. We walked around the neighborhood & lake with Zoie, and we used transit (bus & train), all without issue. So happy to know Christine, Zoie & Raja - thank you again for having us, take care, and all positive thoughts your way.
