Lomu's friendly and playful nature added so much joy to my days. Exploring the picturesque surroundings of Hay-on-Wye with Lomu was an absolute delight. We had numerous adventures together, and I couldn't have asked for a better companion. Gemma and James were incredibly accommodating and easy-going hosts. They made sure I had everything I needed and provided helpful information about the local area, ensuring I had a seamless and enjoyable stay. Their hospitality and trust made me feel like part of their extended family, and I couldn't have asked for better homeowners to work with. Hay-on-Wye itself is a gem of a town, and the surrounding area is nothing short of breathtaking. Our Balmain sit didn't quite go to plan thanks to Covid and was cut short. However, we still got to enjoy a short stay. We loved walking the dogs down to the waterfront Propeller Park. Oreo's a well-trained and energetic Border Collie who loves chasing after a ball while Mia's older and less energetic. The cats basically looked after themselves. Helen and family were lovely and showed us around and left helpful instructions. The house is in a peaceful street, with water and city views from the main bedroom, especially lovely at night... and the beds were so comfortable. Balmain's such a friendly, vibrant and characterful suburb, full of attractive terraced homes and restored workers' cottages, many great places to eat and interesting shops. Would love to go back when life returns to normal 🙂

We met Sandy and Charlie via Videocall and appr. 2 hours in person to get to know each other and for necessary informations. There was good communication from the very beginning. Sandy and Charlie are very generous and friendly. Charlotte loves playing with her toys, watching people throughout "her" window, being walked and eating. Her muzzle works well for not eating everything on the street. She was very affectionate and interested in developping a good relationship to us. She is high energetic and playful for her age: she runs the stairs up and down like a puppy :-) Thankyou again for choosing us, introducing us to Charlotte and welcoming us in your home. This was really dream house sit and a wonderful end of our 3 months road trip! The house of Nicola and Martin is just amazing - with such a good vibe and energy... You would love to live there! Its location is just perfect - so peaceful, green and calm, and at the same time great for the exploring close medieval towns and hamlets! We also enjoyed a lot a company of Mr Watson - The CAT. He looks independent, but he loves your attention and cuddling very much! And he talks a lot! I have never met cat like him before - not just because he is really big :) It was great pleasure to spend our family time at Sainte-Cécile-du-Cayrou at Nicola´s place. THANK YOU A LOT again!
The two cats were a pleasure to look after. They were playful and affectionate with us and each other. The flat is in Uskudar - a great area for exploring Istanbul with easy bus, metro and ferry connections. Everything you need is a short walk away (including the fabulous Monday fruit and veg market). The flat is warm and comfortable. It's in a smart apartment block above a Carrefour and faces to the back so is pretty quiet. Communication with Sunshine was prompt and relaxed with clear instructions regarding the cats routines. A recommended sit!
