Lisa took very good care of my animals. They were not stressed at all when I returned after a 3 week trip showing that they had been loved and well cared for. She is also a wonderful photographer and took some very nice pictures of one of my cats which she was kind enough to share with me. My home was clean and in reasonable shape when I returned. She was nice enough to put clean sheets on the bed for me so that when I returned very late at night, I could just crawl into bed. This was much appreciated.
She kept in contact with me during the stay so that I was aware of how my pets were fairing. She also communicated a lot before the pet-sitting dates to make sure that all was arranged. She declined the invitation to stay the night before I left even though she was in the area already. This meant that we had about an hour of face-to-face time to make sure she fully understood the care requirements of my pets. The welcome guide was available to address any questions she did not ask in our face to face meeting.

On the negative side, she did leave a glass stain on one of my coffee tables in spite of there being coasters available. Fortunately, the table has a warranty so this is in the process of being repaired so there will be no permanent reminder. Additionally, I live in a very conservative neighborhood and Lisa's more liberal points of view and perceived judgement of conservative actions and opinions were not appreciated by some of my neighbors. Several neighbors mentioned this to me after I returned. Others neighbors found her quite fun and enjoyed her company. If you live in a moderate to liberal neighborhood, I do not think this will be an issue, however, if you live in a very conservative neighborhood, be aware.

Overall, I would recommend Lisa as a zeewoi.

I have had a lovely time looking after Sasha, the golden retriever. She was such a placid dog except on one walk when she sighted an Echidna and she was off to chase!!! I was able to retrieve her pretty quickly before she got spiked 🤣. Her home is lovely and Chris & Maree are wonderful owners. Their house is large and spacious with lots of streaming channels. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Thanks Nancy for a great sitting experience! Highlights:
1) Crouton is the nicest, sweetest, smartest and fun-est dog to take care of! You have a gem of a pup. I miss his furry happy bum-wagging presence already. Love how chill he is passing other dogs, cats, etc on walks - it was hassle free and totally enjoyable to spend time exploring together.
2) The location of your apartment right on the canals and marinas of Redwood Shores is heavenly for walking Crouton and just hanging out listening to the breeze in the boat rigging. I wanted to try the pool, hot tub and gas bbq grill areas too but the weekend whizzed by. Your neighbors (met on dog walks) are so friendly, felt safe and at home the whole time. It was also so easy to get food delivered, glad I didn't keep my rental car, it wasn't needed.
3) You have organized your home to make it so easy for a sitter to access all the necessities, from spare garbage bags to laundry pods et al. A seamless move in-move our experience even though we never met until the end of the sit. And talk about electronics connections! I have never seen so many different spots I could plug in my phone, I need to organize my own house like that!
This was another great experience in housesitting, highly recommend to other sitters who might be considering caring for Crouton!

Joe
Sly is wonderfully responsive, alert and fun. His home and neighborhood, or more accurate might be to say Stephanie and Joe’s, is exceptional. If you might not be familiar with Agua Dulce or might hesitate because you think it is a little off the beaten track — don’t. You will be hard pressed to find a better place to be within a beautiful natural, rural California landscape, with wonderful sunrises and night time skies, complete with all the modern conveniences. A restorative respite in the best possible ways.

Sheree and Mary Margaret
I had a wonderful experience with this sit. Sheree and Mary Margaret left very detailed information about Dora as well as the house, so in the event anything at all were to happen, I would have really good resources which I found very helpful and reassuring.
On to Dora - she is a senior cat who needs to earn your trust, and once done she will reward you with lots of affection. She is a very sweet soul, and I miss her already!

Laura
This was such a wonderful pet and housesit! Laura was so nice and welcoming and provided all the information we needed about the home, neighborhood, and the fabulous Jef!
The apartment was very cozy, very clean, and in the perfect San Francisco neighborhood - walkable, safe, close to great food spots AND easy access to public transportation to connect to the rest of the city.
Jef is such a great cat. Super friendly from the moment we met him and a great personality. Such a sweetie!

Thanks so much to Laura for welcoming us into your home and trusting us with Jef❤️

All I have to say is we would definitely return!
