As luck would have it, Victoria’s dates for a yoga teacher training at a studio within walking distance of our house overlapped with our time away. She clearly communicated her travel plans in advance. We didn’t think we’d have a chance to meet but, as luck would have it again, we ended up with some overlap that allowed us to go over things before our departure. We received regular photo updates of our boys during her stay, and Beans greeted us at the door upon our return (a good indicator that he liked his sitter). She even continued integrating Frank and Beans while we were away, as they are still learning to cohabitate, which went above our expectations for the sit.
I was surprised at how well my dog did with Marisa. Usually she takes a long time to get used to strangers but she was walking well with Marisa in like two days. I really appreciated the daily updates with pictures and videos to let us know that everything was going alright. Marisa was really respectful of our house and I think it was cleaner than when we left it.
This was a great housesit! Mackenzie was super friendly and considerate in ensuring that we had a successful housesit with Roo. She left comprehensive information and was very responsive by text. The apartment was in a great location with several restaurants and a great coffee shop on the same block. The apartment setup made caring for Roo easy and was also very comfortable for us. We had a great experience sitting for Mackenzie and we got to bond with a bunny for the first time. We would recommend this housesit!
