Dog Sitters in Herne Hill

I unfortunately didn’t have a great experience with Simran. Globally Bugs was well taken care of but I didn’t get the feeling that my home was respected and communication was less than optimal. I came home to stained bedsheets and towels that will need to be replaced and lots of dirty linen despite almost an entire bottle of detergent being used during a two week stay. Because of all the washing and excessive use of heating I also had an electric bill that was through the roof (2-3 times more usage per day than normal for the duration of her stay). It felt like I had come home after renting my place on airbnb rather than leaving it in the hands of a trusted sitter who I would expect to treat it like it was their own. I hope this was a fluke because Simran has always had great reviews and was very warm and lovely both over the phone and in person. It’s unfortunate that I had a less than ideal experience but felt it was important to share my honest feedback here after speaking with her first about the issues I had during her stay.

We have had Nnenna sit for Gaia several times now because she is just so amazing! Gaia absolutely loves Nnenna and we feel so at ease knowing she is being cared for. We get regular updates about what Gaia is doing as she attends all Nennas social events :). The flat was spotless on return and the whole experience was effortless as usual!

Freya was a fantastic sitter, she provided plenty of updates about the cats as requested and left the house fabulously clean and tidy. She was very able to deal with things I'd missed in the welcome guide and not fazed by the gifts Rocket likes to bring. I would happily ask Freya to sit again

Alessandra and Martin were recommended to us by a previous sitter, as they have been house sitting full time for a couple of years - and they really do make sure that every detail is covered. They were very communicative in the lead up to the sit, and were flexible in arrival time when we needed to adjust. During the sit they made sure the cats were well looked after, and sent daily updates and photos so we know they were well. We had a couple off issues with the feeder which they fixed, and even stayed a little later than planned when one of the cats went into hiding! We'd highly recommend them for any sit 🙂

Couldn’t have asked for better cat parents. Fanni popped over to the flat a few days before the sitting to pick up keys and immediately started bonding with the cats when she stepped in. We had no concerns when we left - they kept in daily contact with photo updates. The flat was spotless when we got back. They really are truly animal lovers and I hope they enjoyed the company of Kite and Frankie. As house guests they are self sufficient and managed to figure out everything they needed or just texted to check. Would definitely use them again, highly recommended to all other pet parents. 😊

Talei took really good care of Tim. She sent us frequent updates and photos, which kept our minds at ease. We came home to a very happy cat

I couldn't have asked for better pet sitters they were incredibly attentive, loving, and reliable. I felt completely at ease knowing my babies was in such good hands. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitters.

Celina was a brilliant sitter, very easy to communicate with, went out of her way to help us out, and left our flat very tidy and clean. Would highly recommend!

Alex was amazing from start to finish - super friendly and reliable, Penny adored her but also she left the house spotless and was super self sufficient; i really didn't have to do anything at all - thank you so so much Alex and I would happily recommend :) Thanks again x

Sarah always answered and updated me with Gus‘ activities sending pictures too. She is very relaxed and took good care of my baby :)

Lilli stayed in our home for 10 days to look after bugsy our 10 month old rabbit. Bugsy clearly loved Lilli and he was very happy and his usual self when we returned! Our home was clean and tidy when we turned. Lilli was really commutative whilst we were away, and replied and sent pictures when we spoke. We would use Lilli again to look after Bugsy.

Sarah looked after Sapphy and the house brilliantly while I was away for a few days. Sapphy was clearly very comfortable in her company, and the house was beautifully clean and tidy on my return. Sarah was kindly very flexible at the last minute when I had a bit of a change of plan. I will be very happy to have Sarah sit again.
