We felt that we had a holiday as so many lovely walks to explore&Angus was happy to go off for adventures every day. We curled up buy the cosy fire in the evening,with a happy tired dog& a sleepy cat.
We had a wonderful time sitting for Paul and Alex. They are a very easy going couple and made us feel very welcome. Beforehand they video called us to say hello and introduce themselves which was reassuring. The cottage is characterful and substantial and always felt nice and warm. The location is beautiful and peaceful. As the weather was mild (too mild for us to light the fire) and very dry the three cats made the most of it and spent much of the weekend outside, popping in and out and letting us know if they wanted anything. They are very easy to care for. We would happily sit for Paul and Alex again.
This was our very first housesit on Trusted Housesitters and the experience could not have been better! Ava and John are so welcoming and their home made us feel like we were on vacation. They have the most wonderful animals and the land is a real retreat. We enjoyed hiking and spending time with Dolce and Roxy, they were very sweet and got along with our dog great. The kitties are so cute and playful and we also had a wonderful time with the horses and their donkey, it was amazing! This was a log cabin experience at its best! We would housesit here anytime and fingers crossed we will again in the near future!
Wonderful experience! Chelsea is supportive, positive and kind. The pets were all great, the dog and I went for walks and some of the cats came also. The kittens were fun to be around and it was hard not to adopt one. Chickens and horses were easy to care for. All in all truly a 5 start place and family!
Koda is a darling, and we were delighted to spend time with him! The house was lovely and well equipped. Matt communicated well. We recommend this sit wholeheartedly!
I had a great time sitting for Bourbon and Milky. Bourbon has lots of energy and Milky is a sweetheart. The chickens were easy to care for and David left excellent instructions that were clear and easy to follow. I look forward to sitting for him again!
