Marga and Adam are two of the most beautiful people. They welcomed us to their home with open arms, provided a full list of their fave neighbourhood places, and even showed us behind the scenes where they work. Rio and Pia get along together just fine without people, but they're affectionate and definitely prefer to have you nearby. Rio is a big teddy bear who loves hugs and attention - especially if Pia is getting it first! Pia is a sweetheart and will let you know exactly what she wants, which is usually to play with her ball. The home is spotless, eco-friendly and close to everything you need, like grocery stores, good restaurants and Red Rock Canyon. (Best to have a car if you want to go hiking or spend time on the Strip). Thank you Marga and Adam for your incredible kindness and sharing your beautiful babies with us! We look forward to seeing you all again soon.
Beautiful amazing house and super duper hosts! I highly recommend staying here... The countryside is stunning and the cat is very cute, though a bit hesitant at first. Philippa was really responsive to any questions I had, eventhough she was abroad on holiday and she kindly had a WhatsApp call with me beforehand the housesit to explain everything. I had an awesome time. Thankyou again and again! 🙏🥰
I had a great sit with Poppy and Nelson! Georgina gave me all the information I needed to read over before the sit, and communication was seamless! I had everything I could possibly need during this sit. I felt really comfortable and safe thanks to Georgina and Adam’s hospitality. There is so much to do at the house such as swim, explore the garden, and I even learnt to play the piano! As for the dogs… they are the loveliest bundles of cuddly joy ever. Poppy is the sweetest girl, with so much love to give and once you start giving her a fuss, you can’t stop… seriously she won’t let you!😂 Nelson is such a handsome boy, super energetic and he loves to be chased, so you’re sure to get a workout! Both dogs are great off the lead, are well behaved and can go out in the car. All in all i would highly recommend this sit! I had a great time and loved looking after Poppy and Nelson! Thanks again :)
Bob and Robbie were so nice, gave lots of local info to ensure I enjoyed the area and were so great about communicating everything I needed to know about the house, Zeebee and Luna. The house is lovely with amazing views in every direction. A storm came through and it was still fairly warm in town but I was treated to views of snow capped peaks. Zeebee and I enjoyed our daily walks and Luna mostly napped during the day in her favorite spots but would seek out evening scratches. The town of Salida had lots of activities and endless outdoor options. Thanks for the fun sit!
We had a lovely stay looking forward to after Bruce and Rita. Both pets were an absolute joy and very well behaved. Bruce was very easy to walk and loved playing with his ball in the local private parks/gardens, which Fiona has a key for. The house is very well equipped and comfortable. Fiona had left us teas/coffees/biscuits which was very kind. The house is extremely central in town, in a lovely area and walking distance to the beautiful city of Edinburgh. Fiona also let us use her nippy car which was brilliant as Edinburgh has so so much to offer.
This sit was such a lovely experience. Lizzie was very warm and welcoming, although this is the first time that my sitter accomodation was entirely separate from the owner's home. I stayed in their converted barn, which is an amazing space - large, bright, airy, and comfortably warm with underfloor heating. A perfect place for me to get some work done on my laptop. The location is quiet and rural, in the middle of the beautiful Sussex Downs. There are lots of lovely walks nearby, but it's also just a short drive to Horsham if you need to do some shopping. The highlight of the sit was of course Betty, Mabel and Henry. They're all incredibly sweet and affectionate, and love a good cuddle on the sofa. They all behave well around the house and on walks, but Betty, the the 3 year old lab, is quite exceptional. She's one of the sweetest dogs I've ever sat for, brimming with intelligence, beauty and affection, and really friendly with other dogs. If I had to describe the perfect lab, it would be her. Mabel, the tiny bossy one, is by far the funniest and cutest dog I've ever known. She should probably have her own social media account. Henry was a little shy at first, but he turned out to be the cuddliest of them all after he warmed up. I can't wait to sit for Lizzie and these lovely dogs again next month, and would definitely highly recommend this sit.
