Scarlett and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with Storm and Bruce Wayne, both doggies were loving, affectionate and a lot of fun. Our hosts made us feel very welcome, were quick to communicate and had left perfect instructions for the area and taking care of the house which was super comfortable - we enjoyed the gym and cinema room. We loved our stay and would be very happy to look after these doggies again, we miss being with them!
A housesit to remember, live and sleep in a watertower. Andrea and Tim are super friendly, everything goes so ordinary and with lot of love and friendship. Warm people and that is precisely what makes us happy. It is not a classic housesit that we are used to, but we enjoyed it immensely. We can recommend this experience to anyone.
Thank you Julie and Thomas for entrusting us with your home and precious corgi. We know you had a choice so we appreciate that you selected us. Communication with Julie was excellent before and during our stay and she was quick to answer all my queries however obscure. Thank you for the gift of coffee which was very thoughtful following my query about coffee machines (there are several coffee making options in the apartment). Nioki may be short on legs but she is long on personality. We'd had no prior experience with corgis and we came to understand Nioki well after spending two weeks with her. We found her to be intelligent, great fun and very interactive. True to the breed, she likes to be the centre of attention, engages in a bit of unnecessary 'alarm' barking if there's noise outside the apartment and will certainly prompt you if you're even slightly late with a meal. Nioki loved her walks and could go for hours well beyond the expansive local parks. She didn't seem to like most other dogs and we were unsure of her recall so, for these reasons, we kept her on the lead. The best surprise was discovering how much she loves her ball games. She can actually 'throw' a ball back to you with incredible accuracy. Towards the end of our stay, Nioki invented a new ball game that kept us amused for hours. There are few daylight hours at this time of year so we found it best to include Nioki in most activities and go on foot. It was a good opportunity to explore Stockholm as the apartment is located about 30 minutes' walk from the centre. We arrived to a blanket of snow covering everything and appreciated the Christmas tree and Swedish window decorations which made our stay festive.
We spent some wonderful days. To begin to describe our stay, highlight the treatment of Julie and Les. Wonderful people, always attentive to everything. Patient, supportive and kind, they made us feel like it was our home. They were patient with us and helped and accompanied us in our first experience in Australia. Pepper and Bandit are adorable, sharing these days with them was really a pleasure. We will miss them, they truly earned a place in our hearts. The place is beautiful, safe, relaxing. The neighborhood has kind and friendly neighbors. Public transport works excellent and in a few minutes you are in central SYD. I wish we had more characters to describe our experience here. Without a doubt it was unforgettable and 100% recommended. We thank Julie and Les for this opportunity and for their human quality. They have made us feel very good these days.
What a stunning home, not to mention Cody. We have left a bit of our hearts behind. Thank you, Ann and thank you Micky for making us so welcome.
Thank you Lydia for entrusting the care of gorgeous Duncan to us, the whole experience was a pleasure and great fun. Lydia’s home is simply cozy, clean and uncluttered. She also has a nice courtyard to relax in. Its location is superb, as you can easily walk ( on the flat) into town, restaurants, parks, supermarkets, pubs, railway station ….and lots more. Duncan was just a bundle of fun, he happily accompanied us out for a drink and/or meal at the pub. He also settled easily, after a walk, and could be left at home for a rest. However be warned ! that when you are out and about, Duncan always meets some fans, haha, ….. so we also got to meet, and chat to lots of nice Cheltenham folk. A five star enjoyable experience!
