Cat Sitters in Hertfordshire

I always ask Liesl to look after my two dogs, because they adore her and I know they’ll be very well looked after. She has also become a good friend over the past couple of years.

This was the first Trusted House Sit we have done, so had no idea what to expect. It was also the first time we had ever left our pets, so it was with some trepidation that we started the Zeewoi journey! In total, Sarah and Adam actually stayed with us for nearly 5 weeks on and off, covering three separate holiday periods. During this time, our 5yr old Weimaraner managed to injure his cruciate ligament and our 1yr old Great Dane started her first season. What were already quite challenging dogs - became even more so!!! Sarah and Adam were simply AMAZING. We cannot rate them highly enough. Super organised and communicative when arranging the sit. Gloriously easy houseguests who were very respectful of us and our home - always keeping it immaculately clean and tidy. And taking our pets completely in their stride - including accommodating our Weim's restricted exercise / requirement for mediation and engineering (!!!) nappies for our Great Dane to wear during her season. They have set the bar SUPER HIGH for any future Zeewoi. We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them - they have been a blessing this Summer for our family xx

Huge thanks to Paul and Sarah to looking after our home and animals for the last few days. Their communication and questions in advance of the sit gave us great confidence in leaving everything happily in their hands. We had regular updates and photos from them during the sit and we came home to a very clean and tidy house.

Kitty and Paul were great. They had good communication before they arrived and arrived punctually. They looked after our animals brilliantly. They gave us regular updates and left our home spotless. We would happily welcome them back.

April and Henrik gave me complete confidence that I was leaving Ruby and my home in safe hands. The communication before and during the sit was very good. They both clearly love dogs and Ruby took to them both straight away. I came home to a happy dog and clean and tidy home. I hope they will consider accepting other sits that I post, if they are available.

Robyn & Ilias were FANTASTIC sitters! They took great care of our dogs and our home. They were inquisitive and enthusiastic, showed lots of love to the dogs, went out on adventures to the beach and the woods. They were diligent and extremely thoughtful, it was lovely to come home and just know the dogs had been really happy and well looked after while we were away!

Liz and Rob were fantastic sitters, we zoomed before they came and Liz asked lots of questions and gave us lots of information about them and their previous sits. We communicated before they arrived and they left really early to get to us as we also had a long drive. The dogs took to them straight away, they were calm and not upset at us leaving at all! Liz and Rob looked after 5 lambs, my chickens and new chicks, Liz was able to give me some great advice being an ex veterinary nurse. The animals and house had obviously been well looked after, they left us some plants and a lovely card as thanks and Liz had even cooked us a scrumptious veg curry. I would thoroughly recommend them as housesitters and would love to ask them back.

Claire has sat for us on two occasions and we are inviting her back later in the year. She was lovely with our aged dog Django and it was clear that he really took to her. She was very pleasant reliable and friendly. Who could ask for more?

From the moment we spoke to Abby, we knew she would be just the perfect fit for our cats and the house and garden. She is an incredibly sensitive and caring person - taking proper time to listen to and understand the very particular needs (and medication) for Mabel and Bertie, and always seeking to put their needs first. She clearly loves animals and has a deep understanding and connection with them. Abby looked after the house and garden so well, helping out in our veg garden with the tomatoes (which needed a lot of care), digging over beds, weeding and planting more crops - something she's also really passionate about. She even left us jars of delicious homemade tomato chutney! The house was looked after so well too and communication was always immediate and reliable - something we really valued, being so far away at the time. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Abby - and would have her back in a flash to stay and to look after the cats again. Thank you!

Tash and Callum looked after our house in Tooting along with our Norjack terrier, Frank, for 6 nights during August 2024. They walked Frank twice a day every day and followed the instructions we left for him perfectly. He seemed in great spirits when we came home. On returning to our house it was left extremely clean, we were very happy with the condition of the house. I would highly recommend both to house sit and look after a pet in the future. James & Lily

We were so lucky to have Chris & Zuzana come and look after Revie. They were amazing and looked after the house and our dog very well. Their communication was excellent, both pre arrival and during the sit. Zuzana & Chris were very thoughtful and organised and had prepared a list of questions regarding Revie’s care in advance, which we discussed on their arrival. Zuzana sent daily pupdates which we loved receiving. On our return, the house was very tidy and we even found a lovely bunch of flowers in our kitchen. It was a delight to have them stay and they made the whole experience such a pleasure and so convenient. Thank you both so much.

Ellie was amazing - she was so organised and communicative before the sit. She looked after our animals amazingly and sent us photos of the walks she took Nellie on. The house was so tidy when we got back too. I would definitely recommend Ellie!
