Charlie and Harry are well behaved and fun dogs to be around. The house is very comfortable with great views of the lake in a quiet and safe location. It is a short 15 minute drive to every convenience you might need. We would happily sit again for them.
What a beautiful location !! Broad river running past the front of the house and backed up by a natural forest ! Blissfully quiet as well. The pets were an absolute pleasure to look after, they accepting me quickly, which made it easy interacting with them, except maybe the fish they just blew bubbles
We recently house and pet sat for Lisa and David as they headed off to the Med for a sailing trip. Lisa and David live in a beautiful home in a charming village with lots of friendly locals, about 10-15 minutes away from Alton. There are so many beautiful walks straight from the house - we enjoyed heading to the common most days but it was great to be able to mix it up with lots of other walks during a longer sit and the dogs really enjoyed having a change as well. Monty and Digger are such lovely dogs, they are friendly, well behaved and just great to spend time with. Seeing their excited faces each morning was enough to get our days off to the best start! We would definitely recommend this sit to any house sitters looking for a countryside getaway with lovely company.
We had a wonderful experience house and pet sitting for this lovely family. Communication with Yora was easy and straightforward. The house was beautifully prepared for our arrival and was excellently equipped for small children. Yora and Jonas has truly built a beautiful home for their family. The house is situated in a quiet area on a dead-end street, providing a peaceful environment. We took care of four cats, who were very relaxed and loved sleeping with us in bed. The three chickens were self-sufficient, although they have a knack for escaping their enclosure but always return on their own. Our children adored the two rabbits and enjoyed feeding them. The animals all get along surprisingly well, with only minor hissing between two of the cats. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and we highly recommend this sit for those who love animals and don't mind a bit of extra cleaning up of droppings.
I really enjoyed staying in such a central and convenient location. Patricia was very responsive when I had questions and Kitty Meow is a joy. The community in the complex is warm and I felt very secure.
