Very comfortable house, perfect pet (Piper) and grateful for use of car. Piper is easy going and happy to rest most of the day but but loves her walks, especially chasing her ball and swimming in river. Quiet, friendly suburb with good local facilities and access to Vancouver sights by car or Skytrain. Highly recommend.
I had the pleasure of sitting for Susan’s 3 amazing dogs and 1 cat. The sweetest most well behaved dogs who just want scratches and love. Walking to the beach everyday was a dream and her home is extremely comfortable. Feel very lucky to have stayed and miss those pups so much already!
Where to start? This housesit is everything we dreamed of when we joined THS 4 years ago. Vivian and Peter have a stunning house perched on a hilltop. It afforded panoramic views of rolling farmlands, olive groves, and distant Umbrian towns. We enjoyed so much peace and tranquility while admiring the views from the impeccably kept grounds. Now, the girls that truly stole our hearts- Petra, Chiara and Siena. They each had a distinct personality and we loved getting to know them! Petra, the youngest, is the cutest little puppy you'll ever meet. She is incredibly curious and funny, always checking up on you and wiggling her ears to try to figure out what you are doing. She's a brave and adventurous girl and learned how to swim while we were there! She is the fastest of the pack and nothing made us happier than seeing her sleeping soundly after plenty of ball and pool time. Chiara is a very happy and excitable girl. Her herding instinct is the strongest and she followed us like a shadow. She would refuse to go anywhere unless she had both of us firmly in sight, which entertained us endlessly. She never failed to be at our heels looking at us expectantly every single time we turned around. Sienna is a gentle and beautiful girl. It took a few days to earn her trust, but once we won her over, she was so sweet! Nothing like a Siena cuddle puddle watching the gorgeous sunsets together. We didn't go to any restaurants because we thoroughly enjoyed the privilege of cooking in the modern and well-equipped kitchen. It had everything we could need! Vivian and Peter even had a small herb and fruit garden. The bedroom was quiet and comfortable and we rested well. Peter's friend, Marion, was wonderful! She coordinated with us for the seamless handovers and did a very thorough job showing us the ropes of the house. She helped us settle in and was always there if we needed anything. We loved getting to know her, and her warmth made us feel instantly at home. We could go on forever about how amazing this experience was, and we keep talking about the girls every day even now that we are home. This housesit was an absolutely magical experience and we already can’t wait to be back!

It was really pleasant to spend 3 weeks in Shropshire, the animals are very nice and lovely and the house is very cosy.
Bella and Alby are wonderful… such sweet little characters. They are absolutely no bother whatsoever 😊 The house was in a great location in easy reach of Manchester. It’s a cracking house (has given me plenty of inspiration for my new house) with everything you would want or need for a comfortable stay.
