We really enjoyed sitting for Charlotte and Sammy who are very sweet! The house is a good size and very homely, with a lovely garden! It’s located in a great part of the UK with easy access to Worcester and some idyllic countryside. Would highly recommend this sit 😊
Cheryl & Bill are generous and welcoming people. This became evident weeks before the actual start of the housesit, where they offered a parking solution for our car during our visa-run to Costa Rica. Our weeks with Brassy were fabulous She’s an old dog but she always enjoyed her walks, even in the rain. She needs medicines, and Cheryl was clear in the handover about what drugs and when. We got fond of Brassy, being such a cuddly and easy-going dog. Cheryl & Bill’s house is in Boquete, which is a fabulous mountainous area. One of the best places in Panama for great hikes and bird watching. Bill drove us around Boquete, showing us what he town and the forests has on offer.
Guilia & James were lovely and kept in regular contact. Tofu the cat was super cute and well behaved and we enjoyed keeping eachother company! Their house is in a great location in Putney by the Thames and this paired with great British weather, I had a very enjoyable stay. The property was very clean, tidy and homely, and not too far from buses/train station and shops, making it easy to get around and access local amenities. Thank you for having me stay.
Deborah and Bear were great hosts. Deborah was super gracious, made sure I was comfortable and kept in communication while she was away. Bear is mild mannered and made friends easily. It was a pleasure working with them. A great pair!
Bagels is such a little star! He’s so cute and everyone on our walks wanted to pet him. He loves attention, you cannot give him enough attention let me tell you! I love walking and we went on 4-5 big walks a day and he kept up eve with his little legs! But he’s also happy to hang out at home. Davis island was such a beautiful community of people with a cute little town. But you can easily get amongst the main parts of Tampa with a walk or drive over the bridge. MaryKatherine and her husband were so kind and hospitable and their home is lovely - I would watch Bagels again, any time!
This was my first house/dog sit with THS and what a great experience it was. The house was very clean, and was as described in the post. Claire was very responsive to a couple things I needed and answered questions quickly. Churro the dog was absolutely the best dog I’ve ever watched. He was a great companion, very well behaved, and just so adorable. I think I told him he was cute about 50 times a day! The location was good, a little out of the way (on a dead end street) but still within walking/biking distance to lots of restaurants and access to parks and Lake Washington within a 10 minute drive. If you get a chance to stay here I recommend 100%.
