Derek is the best! I’ve never trusted anyone besides family to walk my giant Great Dane and was hesitant in beginning. Derek and Moose had an instant connection that put my stress at ease! Now Moose gets excited every time Derek comes over and I have peace of mind having someone so reliable. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough amazing things about Derek and his crew at Beach Buds! When we send our dog there I am confident that he is safe, and having so much fun! He loves playing with all the dogs, and napping with them as well. Derek and his crew ensure that all dogs that come in get along well with all the dogs, which makes us feel so good to send our dog there. They offer a variety of packages to fit your needs and Pick up and drop off options which i use often! They also sell yummy treats, toys and gear! He also offers dog walking services which I know are awesome as well. Definitely worth checking out for your pup!!

The Staff is Amazing they interact with the dogs, Ally picks up at times and brings home my dog. She’s a sweetheart then there’s Lilly she’s loves the dogs and they love her. Then there’s Scott, him and Lilly work together one in the morning in in the afternoon. In my book they are 3 A+ Staff

Great doggy daycare if you live in the area (even if you don’t and need a beach day!) you can always count on beach buds! The owner Derek is very reliable and you can trust that your dog or puppy will be in great hands! Need pick up or drop off in the area? No problem, Derek will try to accommodate you. They will also feed your dog, if needed. My dog loves it at beach buds and comes home happy and exhausted. Clean facility with a great staff, it’s the best place to bring your pooch when you are busy at work or need of a little R&R! 5 stars!

My dog loves beach buds! Derek and his team help me out so much. I am able to go to work for extended hours knowing my dog is safe and well taken care of. I usually don't get out of work until after they are closed so Derek brings my dog home for me so that I don't have to worry. He was even able to help us with our engagement photos so we could have our dog in a few of the pictures. A very valuable business in long beach

They took amazing care of my dog. Lots of one on one attention and updates to my cell during the day. They even groomed him! Stefanie was super sweet and went above and beyond! This was my dog’s first time being left with someone else and he seemed to do great with them. Happy at pick up :) It was super easy to book online just two business days in advance as well which I needed for a last minute trip. Easy to email vaccination records as well.

I can only say/write the best things about Beach Buds Doggy Daycare. Our dog, June, a 1 yo Duck Toller was a 2-3 times a week visitor for over a year (we are now living in Hawaii). She would become very excited when I asked her if she wanted to go to daycare and see Derek. Derek and his staff are friendly, professional, trustworthy and care deeply about the dogs. They offer so many services. I used pick up which was great when I had to go to work very early. I also used dog walking and knew that my dog and home would be safe. I only wish that I could find a dog daycare as special as Beach Buds in Hawaii! We already miss everyone there :-(

My dog Penny started going to Beach Buds right around the time they opened the daycare and we LOVE it! I have peace of mind all day that she's well taken care of and safe and she has the best time playing with all her little friends. Derek and the staff are all wonderful and I know Penny loves them because she jumps out of my arms most mornings because she can't wait to get inside. I highly recommend beach buds to everyone!

Beach Buds is awesome and reliable. I've been using them a few days a week for the past couple years I can can always count on them to take good care of my pup. Sometimes my work schedule causes me to cancel/reschedule walks, and they have always been very accommodating and only ask for 24 hours notice (at the latest). Alyson and Derek are the best and I get notes on every single walk in the their easy to use portal to know how my dog did that day. Highly recommend.

We love Dan’s Pet service as do our pets! We have 2 labradoodles and a tuxedo cat. We have used Dan’s for a couple of years now for overnights, walks, feeding, medicine dispensing, as well as rides to the groomer. The walkers and sitters always send us the cutest photos and sweet updates on how they are doing while we are gone. It gives us peace of mind that our animals are being cared for as we would care for them. They always respond and are even available last minute. Dan’s is a pleasure to work with and we are grateful for their care and services!

I first started using Dan's Pet Care when I had surgery and was unable to walk my dog. It was unexpected surgery so I had to get help quickly. They were very accommodating. They were very professional - on time, very good with him, and tired him out! Since then I have been receiving their emails about their services and gain valuable dog care tips along the way! For example, how they limit their walks when it is excruciatingly hot outside. When the time came for me to find help while I went to work, I knew where I wanted to bring my now 2 pups! They had opened their crate free boarding & day care facility! And even though I do not live close by, it is 100% worth the investment and travel time. They have multiple team members with all eyes on the dogs. The facility is set up so they have tons of room to run and play. It is super clean. They are upfront and honest about everything going on in their facility and well organized. I have also boarded my dogs overnight there. They were snuggled up on a bed! Looked like a slumber party! They pay attention to detail with every dog. One of my dogs has a lot of allergies and I don't have to worry about her getting into anything she shouldn't and don't have to worry about them giving her anything she shouldn't have either. The best part is how excited and loving everyone there is and how excited my pups are to spend time there! I get daily report cards and pictures which further adds to my peace of mind. They are your babies, trust is a huge factor. Dan’s is trustworthy. My dogs look forward to the visits and breaking up their day. Kurt the trainer is gently and effective explaining dog behavior and how to encourage good behavior. So easy to work with. Happy dogs!! Happy me!!

Dan is very serious about the people who work with his dogs and it shows. Everyone who has ever interacted with my two girls has been caring, responsible, and professional. They listen to my requests and get to know my girls. I recently had Dan's while I was away for the weekend and I felt comfortable and reassured that they were in great hands. It made my trip that much more relaxing and enjoyable. Glen Cove has a real treasure here.

When traveling or away for the day, we've relied on Dan's to walk, feed, play with and visit our two dogs, a lab and a multipoo. One staff member is kinder and more professional than the next, and the dogs are treated like THEIR family members. We've done several overnights, all of which have been great. We especially love the app, which allows us to easily make appointments and receive detailed updates about the visits with our dogs. They even include photos. We never have a worry when someone from Dan's is with our dogs. And, they treat our home with respect and care. This is one of my favorite businesses of all time!

Love Dan’s ! Always get thorough feedback from staff who are super professional. My dogs are not easy but it never deters my walkers as they always come with a smile and make it a “no stress” event. Dan's is an extremely reliable dog walking service! I have been using their services for years and have never had a problem. The notes that the walkers send summarizing their visit with my dog are always fabulously detailed and delightful, and the pictures they send of my dog on his walk are very reassuring! I dont hesitate to recommend this service to anyone!
