Craig and Lisa could not have been more helpful before, during and after our stay. We loved their cottage and it’s location . It is close to the train station which allowed us to freely travel north and south. We visited many friends and family around the area too. The snow added to our experience as we were stranded quite happily for a couple of days till Craig offered us use of his ‘Autosocks’ for our car wheels. The walking in the adjoining Blair Estate each day was a real highlight of our stay. I thoroughly enjoyed cooking too in their well equipped kitchen. We appreciated the comfort and warmth of the house, provided by a wood fire and central heating - especially during a period of prolonged freezing weather. Their broadband and wifi service was much appreciated too. Thank you Lisa and Craig!
Amy and Dave are a welcoming couple and their delightful cats are full of personality! Roger is a Ginger who is a love-muffin-cuddler, and Kamala is a sweet sensitive soul who keeps to herself. Their home is modern and well laid-out, fully equipped with facilities, and a guest bedroom for use. You can feel the positive and loving energy they have created in their home. The tube stop is less than a 5min walk and great for getting into the centre of London on the District line, as well as attractions at Canary Wharf/02 Centre. A most enjoyable stay, with regular contact. You will love their precious fur-babies and have a peaceful, comfortable, getaway staying with them if you prefer being a home-body. Highly recommend.
I enjoyed watching the three friendly kitties! Diane made sure I knew where to go, what to do and made this experience a joy. I would definitely care for the cats again! (Since I'm local, i didn't stay at the house.) The house was lovely backing up to a golf course in a nice neighborhood.
I had a wonderful stay at Camilla and Hedges lovely home, they were really warm and inviting and their house is very homely with a lovely atmosphere. Bera is absolutely delightful, he has an amazing sense of humour and was an absolute joy to care for, so easy and such good fun. I arrived the night before they left as they were leaving very early the next day , I had such a good time, we didn't stop chatting all evening, Lucinda is a fab chef. There were very clear instructions left for me to follow with Bera's needs and routine The area has scenic walks on the doorstep or a short drive away and some very decent pubs and places to visit in the area. I would thoroughly recommend this sit.
