I loved taking care of FINN! Finn is such a wonderful dog. When I took him for walks, everyone wanted to say hi to Finn and Finn was friendly back! The apartment is very nice and walking distance to cute restaurants and the beach. Kelsey, who I communicated with, is super chill, communicative and nice! I highly recommend!!!
Such a wonderful sit with an incredible dog Lola. From the get go it was a pleasure to meet and enjoy dinner with Leslie and Rhys, kind generous people... then spend the next few days exploring beautiful parts unknown with a great companion. People commented all the time how well mannered Lola is. Visited the suggested beaches parks and trails taking Lola wherever we went. Nice quiet neighbourhood and such a lovely home it was such a great getaway with purpose. I'd be happy to cross paths and do it all again no hesitation.
Joao and Adriana were super welcoming and communicative. Taking care of their dog and two cats was pure pleasure as they are super easy going, not agressive at all and especially Panda, the dog, is a very cuddly Golden Retriever with a calm temperament. All the instructions about the house and special needs of the animals were very clear and we had daily contact to exchange about places to go or practical questions. I would recommend renting a car for anyone who wants to sit as public transportation to do grocery shopping or visit places is not super developed in the area. Btw, the surroundings are extremely green and peaceful, with beautiful orange and lemon trees everywhere and long stretches of gardens and fields. Really loved sitting for them and would recommend it to anyone who wants to discover this part of Portugal and loves both, cats and dogs.
I totally recommend looking after Chirry, a very cute and funny little cat! John will give you all the information you need to take good care of the cat and to easily find what you can look for in the house. Chirry is a very sweet and independent cat who loves to be pet and will accompany you for hours in your reading sessions on the sofa sitting on your lap. John was well organized, communicative and made us feel completely comfortable in there home. Finally, the house is very cozy, clean and calm, you can easily feel at home! The house is well located just under the Lake District which offers a lot of activities and visits. Thanks again for the opportunity to watch over Chirry while you were away! ✨
I had the pleasure of house-sitting for Anika in the charming wooden house in the beautiful countryside of Bavaria, Isen. Anika is not just a strong-willed woman but also a source of positive and humorous vibes that made our communication throughout the sit easy and fun. Her hospitality and tidy house with everything I needed made me feel immediately comfortable upon my arrival. Also, her thoughtful organization and clear instructions made it surprisingly easy to care for four cats and fish. So much to say about Bonita, Fino, Luigi, and Kalle! Each of them has its character and marks. Bonita, an independent old lady with a strong "cat(cha)racter", is likely to be scared, because of her deafness. She will send you clear signals for the cuddles, and food and may follow you. Fino is the cuddliest cat that I´ve met. He loves being held like a baby and enjoys every presence of Humans. Incredibly, they are already 16 years old! Luigi and Kalle, the young playful funny mischief-maker, are very active and also addicted to eating. ;) For me, it was an inspiring, enriching, and unforgettable experience. I feel grateful for the opportunity and highly recommend this house sit to any sitters seeking a relaxing break in the Bavarian nature with easy-going communication with an open and loving family and these lovable companions.
Meaghan’s home is lovely and in an older but safe neighborhood. Her pups are absolute dolls. They pretty much just sleep all day but love going for walks in the neighborhood.
