Mitch came to meet us for a proper introduction about 6 weeks before our trip. Immediately we felt confident that he would be a great sitter, especially for our dogs! He was on top of communication from the start, checked in and responded to messages consistently, sent occasional photos, and most importantly gave us the peace of mind and space to enjoy our trip abroad. He even managed to help us replace our fish filtration system which decided to stop working shortly after our departure. Additionally, we came home to a pristine house and very happy, loved cats and dogs. His attention to the little things made him stand out and go above and beyond what we have come to expect with Housesitters. At one point he discovered library books and went to renew them for us, helped my mom move some huge plant pots to the front of our house, and left a beautiful display of beach art in a terrarium for us (not to mention some fun toy displays and a welcome home note in our son’s favorite Godzilla toy!). We feel so fortunate to have connected with Mitch and hope to have him return for future sits. He came through for us and checked every box, making him a stellar housesitter. We can’t recommend him enough!
I cannot say enough about Pamela. This was her 2nd sit for us. Our Bonnie became very attached to Pamela with her 1st sit so when Pamela arrived Bonnie greeted Pamela like a family member. We came home early from our 19day vacation and She actually had a fabulous dinner ready for us. I highly recommend Pamela to anyone to come to your home and love your pet. Pamela is a treasure and a blessing in many ways.
Jennie is an Allstate sitter (i.e. you are in good hands with Jennie). She took great care of our two cats and home. She provided us with a daily update and pictures. We returned to a clean and tidy house. She is a delightful, capable person. We look forward to her sitting for us again and have absolutely no reservations giving her our highest recommendation.
Joe and Courtney have lots of sitters so their home is well set up with everything you need and the dogs seem to know the routine well too. Dottie and Dude are super affectionate and will give you lots of snuggles. They like to be close so will be wherever you are in the house. They especially love snuggling in the sofa and napping close to you. Thank you for a good few days.

Janean is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and seems to be able to make them feel very comfortable. My 2 Chihuahuas have stayed with her 2 times over the last couple of months. 1 is very skittish and the other has tremendous separation anxiety. Both so very well there and I am so grateful!
We have used both the daycare and in-home visits at Hounds to Horses. Lucy and Jasper always get the best of care. Lucy thinks Bill is her "other Dad" and sometimes seems to prefer staying with him than coming home! That tells me that she's getting the love and attention she needs while we are away. I've experienced the great environment and personal care that they give all of their animals. The only concern you should have about boarding your animals at Hounds To Horses is that your pet may never want to go back home with you! I highly recommend Hounds To Horses!

Took our pup for her first groom after we adopted her. I was nervous as she is a rescue and has separated anxiety.
