My first official sit with TH proved excellent. Samson was an absolute love and Jeanie was wonderful to communicate with. Their home is beautiful and well-equipped. Jeanie left incredibly clear instructions for everything from the cozy fireplace to where to find the best live music, hikes and food in town. I loved spending time hearing her stories, sharing meals and getting to know Samson and the home before she left. Samson was a joy to tend to. He communicates super clearly and just relishes in affection and cuddles when he isn’t outside doing his own thing. It would be my great honor and pleasure to spend time with Samson again. Thank you, Jeanie, for making my first TH experience so positive!
We had a lovely time staying at Jonny and Andie's house. It's a delightful old cottage with a modern extension, and has a hot tub too, which was a lovely treat to enjoy. The house is on a quiet cul-de-sac, and at the end of the road you're straight into woods and fields, and walking alongside the river - all perfect for walking Buddy! Jonny and Andie were really warm and friendly, they answered all our questions on the call or when we arrived, and stayed in touch while they were away as needed. Buddy's a lovely dog, very relaxed and easy to walk, and travels well in the car. He loves chasing a ball on walks, and having his belly rubbed. Birdie comes and goes through the cat flap, but spends lots of time sleeping in the lounge. We really enjoyed our time with both of them. We had a great few days here, and would certainly recommend Jonny and Andie and this house sit if you're looking to explore the delights of the Cotswolds, Oxford and the wider area.
Loved every moment I spent with Ron, Fred and Rosie! They were very well behaved dogs and had so much love to give. Would sit them again in a heartbeat. Tamara was incredibly hospitable, felt very welcome in her home and she provided me with clear instructions on what to do, a great week indeed!
Kat and Pete were fabulous hosts and Satchell, their dog, was delightful and full of character. I stayed with Kat and Pete on my first night and they were kind enough to cook me a vegan meal. It was lovely to get to know them before they left, to walk with them and Satchell and also to learn about Satchell in a little detail. Initially on my own with him, Satchell was hesitant to walk away from the house but after a while he was more confident with me and happy to travel in the car and explore. Kat and Pete's house is stunning and in a beautiful quiet setting, a reasonable distance from the local town. This area of Wales is a hidden gem with many rolling hills and big landscapes. I'd love to sit for Satchell again and would highly recommend Kat and Pete as hosts.
A most wonderful experience meeting Tina and Chris. They are very generous, kind and loving. Communication was excellent and everything I needed was provided. Jim and Scout are so easy to take care of. They are the friendliest dogs you'll ever meet, very loyal, full of unconditional love, energy and playfulness. Loch Awe is so wild and beautiful, you can’t imagine. I can't recommend this enough.
Oh what a lovely week with Boots in your lovely home Jo! Thanks for choosing me! When I arrived I fell in love immediately with the cottage and the surroundings. In the heart of the Scottish highlands, so many lovely details, a fire place and cute Boots, who will give you high five 🤩 My first thought has been: one day I wanna come here, lock myself in for 4 weeks and write a book 🥰 Communication with Jo was very easy going, Boots came for cuddles straight away and thanks to Jo I was watching out for Northern lights. Didn’t even know they are a thing in Scotland. I’d come back any time 😊

Janean is awesome! First time boarding both our dogs together. They were so happy and well cared for here. No chance we would go anywhere else. Plenty of love and attention... plenty of room to play... total peace of mind. Loved getting picture updates on how our dogs were doing while we were gone. Highest recommendation!
Janean is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and seems to be able to make them feel very comfortable. My 2 Chihuahuas have stayed with her 2 times over the last couple of months. 1 is very skittish and the other has tremendous separation anxiety. Both so very well there and I am so grateful!
We have used both the daycare and in-home visits at Hounds to Horses. Lucy and Jasper always get the best of care. Lucy thinks Bill is her "other Dad" and sometimes seems to prefer staying with him than coming home! That tells me that she's getting the love and attention she needs while we are away. We've been using H to H for over 8 years and I would recommend it to anyone who wants kindhearted people to take care of their fur babies. Thanks Janean and Bill!
I've experienced the great environment and personal care that they give all of their animals. The only concern you should have about boarding your animals at Hounds To Horses is that your pet may never want to go back home with you! I highly recommend Hounds To Horses!

My dog loves this place. She comes back happy and tired. The taxi service is awesome. She jumps right in the van without saying good bye. All of the staff I have met have been so friendly. I highly recommend the doggy day care or boarding to anyone!

Took our pup for her first groom after we adopted her. I was nervous as she is a rescue and has separated anxiety. Our groomer came out, sat with us, talked me through what we signed up for and what she suggested. The whole team made the pup feel safe and at ease.
