I really enjoyed house sitting for Erika. Bobo and Sissy are so easy to love and care for and so we’re all of her beautiful plants and garden. I miss having my own garden, one of the things I sacrifice by traveling as much as I do, so it was such a treat to be able to tend to hers. I would sit for Erika anytime!

This is a beautiful 4 level home with 3 sweet dogs and 2 cats, one hamster, many fish and many birds (finches). The smallest dog was very, very active until late at night, when he would finally go to sleep in my lap from exhaustion. The largest dog ( Evie) was very mellow and easy. The middle one was also often mellow but would play fight with the youngest (something that you should know and be prepared for because it looks like they are going to kill each other!). The place is very clean, with a maid service coming regularly. There is a large in-ground pool in the yard, which is also professionally cared for. There are several large TVs. The guest bedroom light blinked continuously--maybe a bulb that was going out? The king sized bed was very comfortable. The lower level doorknob was broken, and that was stressful because the dogs and cats were outside when this problem became clear, and it was freezing outside (10 degrees!) and they could not get inside quickly. They managed to find their way to the other door, and then I could relax! The host was extremely generous with Christmas gifts and with sharing spices and left-over food. The bird cage and birds were a real treat; I find it impossible to articulate the beauty of the bird cage. There are some nice restaurants (Mai Wand Kabob is great) within driving distance, but nothing is within walking distance. You do need a car for this sit.

Sitting at Melanie's was an awesome first experience in the platform! My boyfriend and I had the opportunity to meet Melanie and her family, so as Barney and Pepper, two days before they-left, and they were so lovely and great people to chat with. They patiently explained in detail all the instructions, plus suggestions to do around the area.
Barney and Pepper where the cutes boys during all of our stay, they are so well behaved and so loving. When you are home with them they are so calm, when you take them to the park they are super playful, or if you take them to a cafe they are very well behaved.
The house of Melanie was so cute, nice neighborhood, close to the train, and with a beautiful garden to enjoy during sunny days.
We enjoyed so much the house, and fall in love with Barney and Pepper.

We loved taking care of cute little Churro! He’s so smart, funny and cuddly. We’ll miss him! This pooch LOVES being with people!! Claire and Jason are awesome pet parents and gracious hosts. Their communication before and during the sit was excellent. Their beautiful home is comfortable and modern and in a great area of Seattle. We only wish our sit had been during summer so we could utilize their super cool rooftop deck with it’s amazing views! We’d love to sit again.
