We came to the Bark House after a disappointing experience with another doggy daycare in the area, and the Bark House has exceeded our expectations. The workers are so loving and caring towards Astro. When I drop Astro off now, he runs out and straight to the front door of the facility. He's so eager to see his friends and the workers. We are very appreciative to find such a great daycare.
Daisy absolutely loves the Bark House. She is always excited when we mention daycare, and when she gets there, she runs inside to play. When it's time to go home, she is always out of breath and ready for bed.
Owners and employees love what they do. They are super friendly. My boys love going 5 days a week. Would trust any other doggie daycare in the area. They come home and eat dinner and crash. They are supper happy and get excided when we turn onto E. Greg every morning. The staff takes excellent care of them and the dogs get to dress up for all the holidays.
Rowdy lives coming here. He cannot get out of the car fast enough. The staff are caring and loving to our baby.
My dogs always look forward to me going on vacation because they love the Bark House! It's like a vacation for dogs. They get super excited when we pull up to the door. I don't know what goes on in there, but my dogs sure do love it! The staff are very easy to communicate with and the prices are great. I always feel peace of mind when I leave my dogs there. They are a family business and very trustworthy. I highly recommend !
Tripp Dogg loves boarding here when we're not able to take him along. As much as we miss him, we know he's in good hands. -Regina
Let me start by saying I am one of “those” dog owners that is slightly neurotic when it comes to my dog. He is absolutely a member of the family and my best friend. Keeping that in mind, I have ZERO hesitation taking him to daycare and boarding at The Bark House. I know he will be absolutely taken care of and loved as though he were at home. Thomas and Krystal go above and beyond and I am so thankful for them for the piece of mind knowing my baby is safe while he’s away from me.
My Gracie loves her time at the Bark House
I tried to give this place a couple of tries before making a final decision how I felt. The first time we dropped off our dogs for our wedding, the man that owns bark house was extremely rude. We were leaving them for over a week (2 dogs) and he criticized the amount of food we brought for them. Passive aggressively making remarks about how “we must be staying a month” and when I giggled and ignored the remark he made a point to bring it up again 2 more times saying how no one does that and to definitely bring less next time so they weren’t inconvenience. I had never been here before, I was leaving my dogs for a week and it really didn’t leave me feeling good about the situation. We decided to try them again for a weekend away. They stated our drop off was 6:30. They also close at 6:30 but did not mention it. I called at 6:33 to let them know we were 2 min away from drop off and the lady rudely said “well no one is there” and I said “really? We have a 6:30 drop off?” And she rudely responded “well its 6:33…” never had I had customer service that wouldn’t take a dog 5 min after a drop off time. Sometimes it even takes 5 min to unload your dog from the car. The customer experience is lacking. It doesn’t make me trust how they would treat my dogs if they treat dog parents so poorly. Overall they are just rude people and wouldn’t trust them with my babies. Response to the owner: Our first stay in the system may show as cancelled which is because it was for a stay we requested, it was never confirmed on your end, therefor we found another sitter and it was cancelled. We didn’t hear from anyone. Not sure where you are getting we rescheduled for our wedding?? And yesterday wasn’t rescheduled, we were 5 min late, even called to let you know, and had no way of knowing you closed exactly at 6:30, especially since your company knew you had dogs being dropped off at that time. We did bring an appropriate amount of food. We had half of a 10 lb bag of dog food for 2 dogs for 9 days of stay. The container we had it in had their toys, treats and food which is 10” tall and 5” wide. That’s hardly a large quantity of items for our 2 dogs. Appropriate amount is subjective. If you want food quantity separated our with specific amounts per day, say that on your site. We would’ve been happy to accommodate. Things happen and we wanted you to have enough for the dogs without any worries for such a long stay. You made us feel unwelcome and were very rude. In regards to drop off times, nowhere were we told that our selected drop off was your closing hour. I do not work at your office nor can I see the front door while booking online. You knew we had a 6:30 drop off, that could’ve been adjusted on your end if that time didn’t work. 6:35 is not an unacceptable timeframe. If your system needs to be corrected on what customers can select, that sounds like a customer service issue. You can post that on your site, send an email, give a call with a different time. Lots of options. There are ways of handling issues with respect for your customers and you did not do that. Both of you were passive aggressive or rude each time we spoke to you. That’s the 1 star.
Peanuts loves going to “the clubhouse” aka The Bark House! She has so much fun playing with all her friends and spending the night just to play some more. I feel she is well looked after and that gives me peace of mind. 🩵🩵🩵 Love this place! …
I have a very active puppy and Adventure Pet handles her with such professionalism. They separate her from other dogs when she needs a break but is too stubborn to take a break herself! And I’m still told by many workers they think she is such a good sweet puppy. She is happily tired the rest of the day after pick up. So grateful for this place
This is the BEST place for your pets!! I'm not sure who loves Adventure Pet more, me, or our lab, Bodie!! We had an emergency situation arise a few weeks ago, and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Bodie loves to spend the day playing with his doggy pals and pushes through the door upon arrival. What more could we ask for! He's kenneled there as well and is always well taken care of. The exit bath is the best! Thank you Adventure Pet for giving us a safe, clean, and fun place for Bodie to stay. He'll be back soon.
Our dog loves this spot! She runs in and clearly has a blast all day. Love that they get to be outside to play, even if she sometimes comes home a little dirty, totally worth it - the dirtier the more fun they had! Staff is great too.
Will not be using this place anymore considering how many people I have recommended to use this place for boarding. TURNS out they are more of a daycare facility and if your dog has not been there for more than 6 months you have to restart the half day process ALL Over again. DOES NOT SAY THIS ANYWHERE on their website. Great we have 2 weeks to do 2 half days from Carson City NV. It's been maybe 9 months since we were last there and everyone loved my dog. So really it is about the money than anything else. Here we will just throw in more hoops for you to board your dog here. I will be referring other boarding and daycare facilities for now on and telling everyone that talks about adventure pet about this experience. Front staff absolutely no help.
Adventure Pet has been a perfect fit for our not-so easy pup! There’s no where else I trust dropping off our 92 lb. fur baby for day care and boarding. From the moment we walked in, we loved that they do evaluations on dogs to make sure they are a good fit and not a safety issue to any other dogs or people. Our dog can be a bit particular with who he likes and is slow to warm up to people, but Adventure Pet has done a great job getting to know him and is always patient with him. I highly recommend this place for day care or boarding your dog! We wouldn’t go anywhere else in Reno after finding this gem!
There is friendly staff, but every time I take my dog to day camp, he comes home covered in mud and sand. So it ends up being more work having to wash him while I cook dinner and put the baby to bed. I asked the staff if they could rinse his feet upon pick-up, but they were not accommodating. They have grooming, but I shouldn't have to pay extra to groom a dog who comes to daycare clean and gets dirty at the facility. I want to reserve time for my dog to play, not spend hours in a kennel drying and waiting to get picked up. I can only take our dog to this daycare on dry weather mornings when it isn't too hot or cold out.
Adventure Pet is incredible! My dogs get so excited to go, they are at the door at least 5 minutes before I can even hear the van come to get them. They are so professional and careful with our beloved dogs. They always go out of their way to ensure safety and fun is had by all dogs. Sure they come back dirty - but that's how I know they had a great time. I cannot recommend this business enough for your dogs- just make sure you have dogs that come back! Troy and Stephanie are incredible people who also give back to the community constantly. They are raising their daughter the very same way and she is amazing!
I can’t say much for their facility BUTTT, Troy, the owner, was very accommodating when I called. I was in a bind and needed a dog day care for the very next day. He walked me through the application process and times I could bring my pup in to get analyzed and then taken in to be cared for. They even graciously extended my arrival time (I had to get my dog her parvo shot updated) when I did not think I would make it. However I didn’t even make it to the other time because the vet took to long. Overall, I was very impressed by the customer service and would happily try to take my dog there in the future!!
Very professional. Grooming department staff is friendly, timely, and talented. My dog's cut looks great! It only took about 2 hours. Yay!
Adventure pet is amazing. I take my dogs Cocoa and Charlee (who is blind and deaf) to their daycare and my dogs literally wait by my truck to go. The staff is amazing and I know my dogs are being loved on and are safe while they are there. They also do an amazing job with boarding when I'm out of town. I get sick from time to time as I have had two heart transplants and adventure pet never hesitates to step up and help me with my dogs when I need them. I highly recommend having them watch your fur babies . You will not be disappointed
Luna and I LOVE the Pet Playhouse!! We’d had an AWFUL experience at another local daycare/boarding facility and then that owner followed up with even worse customer care. But Pet Playhouse is EVERYTHING we were looking for!! Reasonable rates, caring staff who are the same from visit to visit-which gives us both comfort, friendly, warm and consistent communication. This is the place to go if your pet, like mine, is your bestie and deserves the best when you can’t be together!!
My pup literally jumps for joy when she figures out that she's on her way to daycare at Pet Play House. The staff are kind and professional. They often greet my pup by name when we drop in and sometimes send a report card home at the end of the day. I love finding out which friends my dog played with and what enrichment activities she enjoyed. I only wish I got a report card every time! Our experience with boarding has been positive, too. I'm really grateful that I found this place for my dog to socialize and play.
We love sending our boy to doggy daycare and boarding here. They treat him like one of their own and we love the activity sheets that we get everyday. They always have fun events planned for the dogs and Beau always comes home happy and tired!
Our fur babies, Gracie and Gibson love going to the Pet Playhouse for play time and boarding. They get plenty of love and attention and enjoy playing with their fur friends. (They are generally "worn out" when they come home). Always a sign that they had a good time!
He’s been here a few times for day visits and always has fun - even to the point that we’ve dropped him off soley for him to play because he gets excited when we head in. Last night was his first overnight (he has a big anxiety issue whenever he’s not in direct sight of a human for some reason). This anxiety has been an issue as we couldn’t find someone local we trusted to overnight him without trying to lock him in a kennel - which he doesn’t do. We picked him up this morning with his tail wagging and excited to be playing - tells us he had fun and was excited to play again in the morning. 100% recommend this place to care for your pup(s).
If u are boarding your dogs or even leaving them for day care please be aware of this spot. We left both of our dogs here for boarding from 6/12/2024-6/15/2024 on pick up day my dog had noticeable scratch on her nose that wasn’t there when we dropped her off!! They simply said “ we don’t know how she got it?” And then both of my dogs came back with a strong coughing/gagging..have taken them to the vet is diagnosed with kennel cough!! Mind you both dogs are up to date on their vaccines!!! Called pet play house and the only thing they could tell me is “oh well we didn’t see anything weird.” Like what’s that supposed to mean?? OBVIOUSLY there was a dog(s) there that were sick OR they did not disinfect the room properly!!!! Now because of their negligence my poor dogs are sick and I’m making an extra unexpected expense.
This business is wonderful. The staff is friendly and caring towards the animals in their care. They are easy to work with and the website is easy. I'm so pleased that our Bella is happy to go and tired when she returns. I'm impressed with the little report cards my pet comes home with. It's cute. I also am impressed with the services they offer. Thank you all for care you give our girl while in your care.
My fur baby absolutely loves going to “school”. That’s really all I need to know. Every time we exit the freeway onto 4th street she knows exactly where we’re going, and she can’t get out of the car fast enough when we park. Also, I love love love all the cute parties they do around holidays. They cost extra but I’ve always been pleased with what we get out of it. I can tell the girls who work there like the dogs and they seem to know them personally. Another big positive is they have the dogs wear Velcro collars for safety. They are very picky about vaccines, which I appreciate. We love Pet Play House!
July 2020: First review about this place and I may have updates: It is our Beagle's second day here. Our dog has some anxiety/fear toward strangers (he is fine with dogs) and he's going through regular behavior training with Bark Busters (another great company). Before we moved to Reno, NV, we had paid a visit to Pet Play House and explained the situation to them. We travel a lot and need a safe/friendly place where the dog eventually feels comfortable just like where he used to go before we moved to Reno. The entire place seems well maintained including their overnight boarding areas, pet play areas, and common areas. The lobby is inviting, and the staff seems friendly. On my dog's first day there, he was obviously nervous, everything is new to him including the house, surroundings, people, and the daycare. He did bark a bit but it looks like the staff took it slow and eased him into the whole strenuous experience. We took a break next day and took him back there again and he jumped out of the car eager to go in and make friends again. The second time we took him there was better - he greeted the friendly girl who he met last time and it seems to be going okay. To most people, this review will be overly informative, but to those with dogs that are fearful/anxious, let me tell you know incredibly important it is to have such an establishment around. It is a sure shot way to continue to socialize them and tire them out. I continue to look forward to making our pet a part of your amazing play house. My wife and I are forever grateful to you and your staff already :) UPDATED JULY, 2024: This place is still going strong.
Everyone was very kind upon our arrival. My dog seemed very happy when I picked him up and this is the first time he has eaten all his food while being boarded, which is an indicator that he was happy at his temporary home. Furthermore, Pet Play House was very accommodating when the snow storm made us a day late picking up our dog. We will definitely use Pet Play House again for our next boarding session.
This is the face my dog makes when we pull into the parking lot at Camp Bow Wow. I love the fact that when we leave town we can still keep an eye on Zeus through the cameras on their app. Everyone there is a pleasure to deal with and I feel at ease leaving my boy there.
My pup had his interview at CBW and passed with flying Colors.. it was a surprise that we could leave him there for a few hours.. which we did! And I could track him through the yard cams and he was having great fun making new friends! The care and love he got from the pup lovers there, was amazing! The facility is setup so well.. and happy employees, taking great care of the pups! Definitely going to be back soon! Don’t remember names of all the girls handling the show there, but definitely Ray and Hayley!
Camp Bow Wow is a great place for dogs to socialize and camp (board). I really love the screening process before they accepted my dog. And exam, which is a screening process is free - that right there is a great business model, because it brings me a peace of mind that my dog is happily and safely socializing with other dogs.
We have been coming here for a few months now and our dogs Shamous and Yeardley love it! The staff is so nice and they really care about the animals. I love getting pictures of the enrichment sessions and being able to watch them on the cameras! Definitely the best doggy day care in Reno!
The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. I know my pup is well taken care of and gets so excited as we walk up to Camp Bow Wow. Scheduling is super easy on the app and I love that there are cameras so we can see how much fun he's having playing with ll the other dogs. Couldn't be happier!!
Well we took our dogs here today and unfortunately we will not be back. It was their first time so we watched the cameras to see how they were doing. My dogs were there from 9:45 - 10:30. As we watched the cameras we noticed not once was their human interaction with our pups. The girls in the yard just walked circles in their pj's. My smaller dog which is a frenchy approached her multiple times and nothing. No acknowledgement at all. We noticed another small dog trying to mount her multiple times and no one paid attention. We noticed our baby going to the window multiple times and she seemed to be acting weird. So we decided to go get them. Even they brought our frenchy out she was overheated gasping for air and it sounded like she was having an asthma attack. The second we walked out the front door she puked. We immediately gave her water which she drank immediately like she hasn't had any water. We got her in the car immediately with the air blowing on her and eventually she was ok. Or other pup also had foam all around her mouth and was thirsty as well. They originally wanted us to leave or pups for 3 hours. I honestly feel like if we had she would've been dead or at the vet. Just an hr there was bad enough. I do not recommend.
I LOVE Camp Bow Wow! The animals are treated so well and you can tell they are loved. The indoor and outdoor play areas are a great feature. Being open weekends is just the icing on the cake.
The staff is friendly and helpful. They love my dogs like they were their own. The facility is clean, and the rates are reasonable. I recommend Camp Bow Wow for dog boarding and daycare.
Brought our sweet but very timid dog, Coco, to camp bow wow so that he could socialize with other dogs and get the play he needs while we do our thing and he LOVED it! I’m constantly nervous about him so the cameras to watch him are always super nice! When we picked him up he was tired and seemed very happy. I’m not sure her name, but the lady who checked us in when we dropped him off was super sweet!
great experiences with cap bow wow so far. friendly staff, clean facility and accomidating at short notice. Cameras to watch your pup and lots of friends to hang with all day and night. would definitely recommend if you are in search for a new day care or boarding
Hi everyone! My name is Monica and my pet name is Apollo, he is a beautiful German Shepherd. Like any other pet owner I always want the best for Apollo, we always had AMAZING stuff to help us out. However I just wanted to share how happy we are with Rebecca! She is one of the professional groomer for On Command.Just want to share how everyone in the facility is very professional and caring. Apollo has a lot of anxiety and very nervous, after Isabel left we were so sad. But now we have Rebecca. I Highly recommend her she is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Thank you Rebecca.
Like many pet lovers and owners, I search for respectful, caring, and nurturing services to train my dog. On Command is far from that. I was encouraged not to come here, but went against that advice. I shouldn’t have. On Command neglected my pet and refused to speak with me regarding the treatment of my pet. Their Management team is far from professional and that reflects in their facility. Grateful for other dog training options here in Reno 😁
Boarded my three dogs with OC Sparks for approx 10 days. Came back to happy, healthy dogs! Preboard communication was great; very important to me as I was coming from out of the country. Will definitely use them again when in the area.
Oh my goodness, what a wonderful surprise…I am trainable! We took our 4 year old Cavaliers in for training, they pull, run out the door and jump on all humans. I cannot believe how quickly they picked up on new skills. SAM was a wonderful trainer. I feel confident that we will be able to reverse the bad habits that we have allowed to happen. Thanks On Command!
So, our puppy went here and what a hack job they did. The beard and eyebrows we love is gone. Yes, I asked for a trim only and told them that I liked her ears and eyebrows and small beard. It gives her character.. instead they shaved our dog. Even her whiskers! I would not recommend this place to future dog owners.
I’ve been taking my dog to On Command in Sparks for a couple of years. I used a lot of their services and was a faithful customer until the owner taken money from my checking account and will not return a refund. The owner!! A total disrespectful jerk!! Here’s the issue, I took my small dog 25lbs in to get groomed. The employee charged my account $222, that was an error. The error had already gone through when she ran the actual amount of $112 therefore, my bank account was charged a total of $334 for a $112 groom. The employee who ran my card said to call them and they will take care of the $222. The owner credit my “On Command” account, I didn’t want that, I wanted my money back in my bank account. He called left a message stating “I refunded your bank account $112 everything is good now” NOT! Instead of refunding the actual error of $222 he refunds $112 leaving a balance of $110. Here’s the math $222 + $112 = $334 He refunded $112, I paid $112 for grooming. I emailed the owner several times with no response back. I asked him to bring in the employee who did transaction, he doesn’t. Well, since I wasn’t getting anywhere with the owner over email, I decided to visit him. Here’s what happen. I go in reminding him of his error and he owed me $110. Before I could even finish, the owner tore into me saying “you are not getting anything back from me”. He was so rude we ended in a heated argument in front of his employees. He used the “F” bomb told me to shove up my …several times, as well as flipping his middle finger at me telling to me to get out”. This man was the most rude irresponsible unprofessional crook I ever come across. My mistake was not going to my bank and have them do a reverse charge. But! The principal behind this, is something I’ve never experienced from a so called business man. Very rude!! He owes the employees an apology for his actions. If he can do this to me, he’ll do it to you.
I adopted Sam from the Humane Society and took him to see Jamie at On Command for a good grooming as he had a bad kennel smell and hadn't been cared for in quite some time. I can't believe the difference in how he feels and smells. He's so soft and smells so good and is welcome on the bed now! He was getting fur all over everything but after Jamie took care of him, there's hardly any fur now! He looks so handsome! Everyone he meets on our walks comments about how good he looks and how soft he is! She's been caring for my dogs for years and always will! Highly recommend!
BEST PLACE FOR GROOMING! Been coming here for years to have my havanese get the full service grooming package. I know my dog may be difficult and stubborn for showers but they handle her very well. Her cut is always on point! Will not change groomers any time soon.
I started training classes at the Sparks location for my two pups with LeAna earlier this year. She has made such a difference for my barky, overexcited Aussie! (My boys adore her, she takes the time to say hello and give belly rubs every time they have a class. They look at her with pure love lol) She has been kind, patient and you can tell she and the team there genuinely love dogs. The daycare evaluation report cards are so personalized and fun! Their classes are great, daycare is fabulous for the dogs and LeAna is one of the best dog trainers I have met. I highly recommend them!
Wonderful facility, great people that know dogs, and top-notch training. Sam is very knowledgeable and not only trains your puppy but also trains you. She is calm and reassuring and explains everything she does and why she does it. I enrolled my puppy in the five one on one lessons and will do it again for off leash training. I HIGHLY recommend her for your dogs training needs.
I gotta say these people were awesome!!! I’m EXTREMELY picky about where my dog goes and always worry how he’s going to be treated. This is by far the best place he has EVER been groomed!! He looked, smelled, and felt AMAZING!!! 10/10 recommend going here! The staff were really nice and took great care of my boy! I refuse to go anywhere else, the price was also very affordable. My dog is 104 lbs Great Pyrenees. A lot of places charge up the butt for services of XL dogs. Way to go Animal Oasis😎🤗
They were able to look after my dog on Thanksgiving for all day day care for just around 30 bucks. My dog is old and with arthritis and were able to make a special accommodation for her to be alone. They made a tough situation work and she came out very happy. Thanks again. Have no problem recommending this place.
Today was our very first groom and I was so nervous my puppy Max wouldn’t do well but the groomer Chelsea was so amazing with him he did great and he looks so cute and clean a brand new boy. I will only come here from now on the price was perfect thank you animal oasis!!!!! She even called me half way through to let me know how he was. I like that they do curbside as well
10/10 All the folks that work here are so kind. I feel like they love my dog just as much as I do, and they are miracle workers on a husky that runs and hides if I even bring out a grooming mit at home.
THE BEST DOG DAYCARE AND BOARDING IN TOWN! FULL STOP! We have tried so many places in the area and Animal Oasis exceeds the others in every way. Wonderful staff that treat our dog as if he were their own. Amazing service, reasonable pricing and our dog absolutely cannot wait to run inside every time we take him. He loves it. Comes home exhausted every time. They also have a great groomer that gets our dog smelling fresh and all flooffed up for a reasonable price.
My good friends dog goes here. We had a 911 emergency and I had to pick up the dog. The lady helped me get the dog to car and was very pleasant. Thank you animal oasis.
I have been a customer at Animal Oasis for the last 3 and a 1/2 years. My dog Danny Boy and I are very satisfied with the care he receives. They are always available to receive my dog every morning before work. I have had the opportunity to leave him for extended stays or for a short few hours. One of the best things that I like about Animal Oasis. Is that he gets the ability to run out his energy and come home and sleep.
We have such great things to say about Animal Oasis! We had been taking our pup Kiwi for daycare and a few baths/boarding nights while living in Nevada. So thankful that we found a place who takes such great care of kiwi. You can tell they love your dog as if they are their own.
Boarded my pup for 2 nights. First time he has been away from our family for more than a few hours. The staff was amazing. Even though I could tell they were busy, they took the time on a few occasions to take my call checking up on our dog. Even offering to call me with a follow up after the first night. We picked up, and he was nice and clean. He has been exhausted ever since. In a good way. I can tell he had a great time. Thank you Animal Oasis.
We just got our little doggie back from Animal Oasis after a brief vacation and was thrilled at the care that she received. In the past we have had some very bad experiences with kennels which has made it difficult to travel. Nicole and the good people at Animal Oasis just loved our little doggie and it showed in the exquisite care that she received. Our doggie had to go into Animal Oasis for a few hours so that the staff could see if she would be compatible with the other dogs there. They are very meticulous at creating a supportive environment for all in their care. They followed our feeding and medical care instructions perfectly.
I have to say that every time I bring my pups to you, I am always blown away by the caring and kindness of all the staff. They remember my dog’s names, they tell me how their day was, and help me to the car when I bring more than one, and are so supportive and encouraging. Yesterday they brushed Mando and the young lady that did it told me how he did and he looked AMAZING. She is a true miracle worker! I just wanted to say thank you to all of the staff for making my boys always feel welcomed and have the best time. I can tell they feel loved and cared for there. We appreciate you all! 🩵 Mando, Abraham, and Dakota’s mom
My Golden Orion loves going to RWC. Not only does he get socialized, but he stays fit with his Treadmill time & enjoys swiming in the pool all year long! We were worried about how the other dogs would treat him due to only having one eye, but the staff made him feel safe, and his experience was great! Would love to see more pictures of him on social media to see how much dun he is having, but all and all great place! Thank you to the wonderful staff!!
Susan is an amazing trainer. My 150lbs Armenian gampr was extremely food aggressive. My Gampr he no long attacks other dogs and is a joy to have him as a member of our pack. Susan has taught me how to be more assertive and how to help my 6 year old collie to have confidence. I absolutely recommend Real World Canine for all your training needs. As for my pack we will continue to use Susan as a guide to help my pack! Thank you for all that you do Susan!!!
Used to take our dog here for day care and boarding. Was just informed, upon talking to the 3rd person over this past week trying to get boarding, that since he hasn't needed it in 6 months that they would have to treat him as a new dog and redo his evaluations, including charging us for them too. Even though he was in their "green" good dog category. What an awful way to treat long time customers for taking a break.
My boy has been sleeping all night after his day at 'school.' He liked the treadmill and the new friend he met. I feel confident taking him there. The ladies loved him and left me a very detailed report of his day. I will be taking him back for sure.
A friend recommended us to take our puppy to Real World when he was five months old. He's been going every Friday since then. They are trustworthy, always take extra precaution with all the dogs to provide the best environment. It's scary to leave your dog with just anyone because they can't communicate to you about the experience - Real World calms all those fears and I am at peace every Friday knowing he is enjoying his day! Here's of a photo of him enjoying his first birthday at Real World!
I adopted a female, five month old Husky/Shep mix who was a bit of a handful. RWC's puppy foundations, play groups, pools, and "report cards" have helped Elke and me work together at home to further develop Elke's good canine citizenship. As soon as we turn up Sutro, she knows where she is headed and can barely contain herself. She has some special furiends (Tucker another Husky, Cody a Shep, and tiny PUA the Frenchie) who she plays so much with, she can barely stay awake to eat dinner. I highly recommend RWC.
New facility but same caring staff. I can make plans with confidence knowing my dog is in good hands. Thank you, Real World. Duke II is ready for school.
Love this place! The entire staff is wonderful, & they interact with each dog & not stand around on their cell phones. They teach them new things, keep them busy to where they pass out in the back of the car exhausted before they get home. Wonderful employees! I want to ad more to my review..I have been recommending Real World Canine to everyone! This place is beyond phenomenal. I wear a grey shirt of theirs daily & am Constantly asked about it. I feel truly blessed that my yellow labrador has such a wonderful place, where she feels comfortable, learns, gets instructed & corrected (when needed) Lexie can be a busy body sometimes..hahahaha. God-bless you all.
What a great place. I'm so happy to have been referred to them. They are great trainers and seem to genuinely care for the dogs. My pup loves the treadmill and hopefully he will learn to love the pool. It's a great place for dog daycare, boarding, or just an occasional day to run off some energy.
I’m a first time customer of On Command. We brought our two Portuguese Water dogs in for grooming. The staff was welcoming and kind. The place was spotless and didn’t smell of dog like so many other facilities do. They did exactly what I asked of them. My pups came out beautifully groomed. It was obvious they put a lot of time and effort into making my dogs look and feel fabulous. They seemed relaxed and not overly stressed by the experience. I feel confident giving On Command 5 stars and will refer others to the business.
Our first time using On Command for grooming of our 10-lb Maltese. It went great. Lovely outcome and Mia was handled beautifully.
On Command was fantastic both in outstanding customer service and knowledgeable/skilled groomer. It exceeded my expectations by far. And, my 9 1/2 month border collie looked beautiful. One will have an overwhelming experience on how committed and caring the staff is for its fur babies. Environment is extremely clean and well managed. Can’t say enough - you and your fur baby will be well taken care of from the moment you walk in and/or call. Bernadette and Coco Chanel
I cannot express enough how thrilled I am with On Command 2! They truly worked wonders with our beloved doodle Bentley and gave him the perfect haircut. The grooming facility itself was immaculate. From the reception area to the grooming stations, everything was clean and well-maintained. The staff displayed exceptional customer service. They were friendly, warm, and genuinely cared about Bentley’s well-being. I wholeheartedly recommend On Command 2 to any dog owner in need of top-notch grooming services. With their skilled staff, outstanding service, and incredible attention to detail, they have become our go-to place for all our dog grooming needs.
Had my pup there for about 8 days while I was out of town. The staff there was extremely helpful and looked out for my pup. When I returned, they gave my pup a bath (little extra to do that but worth it) and he looked very happy. They let me know that he was very well taken care of, ate all of his food as well as getting plenty of belly rubs from the staff! Could not be happier with how they watched him and took care of him. Will definitely do it again when I go out of town!
I LOVE On Command. Every staff member is kind and loving. I have taken my 8lb yorkie mix, Simone, to other dog boarding places in the past and she would hide in the back of the car every time we pulled into the parking lot. At On Command she jumps in my lap and cant wait to get out of the car! It gives me so much peace knowing she is happy and loved there! I have had her groomed at On Command as it is so convenient and she always looks great. Thank you CeCe, Nicole and the entire OnCommand Team!!!
I took my little Yorky who's only about four months old to On command to be groomed for her first grooming. They were wonderful. Treated her very gently and knew how to get her to be still to groom her. I was very very impressed with everybody there and would highly recommend them.
On Command is so kind. We just moved near one of their locations, and have been trying to find a good grooming spot. We called and they squished us in for a nail trim without a worry. Then we set up his online profile and a groomer created an appointment for him- which I thought was today. Turns out it’s next week, and they still put in the effort to give him a good nail trim before our actual grooming session next week.
Thoroughly impressed with this business. They treated our puppies like family. The process was easy and even did a last minute accommodation for grooming with our puppies overnight stay. The cost was very reasonable. We will be using them every time we come to town now! THANK YOU!!!
Hi, my name is Monica, I just want to share how AMAZING! On command is. My dog name is Apollo, him and I we were having a hard time finding something who new how to treat him right and had a Little bit of patience with him, long store short I call and talk to them about how my dog was so scared of anyone cut his nails, bath….. They explain me that is very important to them that any dog feels comfortable, so I took him for the first time 3 months ago, today was his 2nd time and all I can say is how thankful I’m with Isabel and Kylie. They are Amazing. My dog comes out happy. I definitely recommend them a 💯 to anyone that has dogs. Best in Reno.
