Evan and Maple for the win! Evan was an excellent communicator and provided very detailed instructions for the sit. Basically everything you need to know is shared, which I greatly appreciated. Maple also was the sweetest girl! I miss her very much (she has the cutest pitter-patter when she gets excited). I highly recommend this sit. Amazing location and home as well.
Had a great time staying with Milo, he was such a sweet and cuddly boy and very well behaved. Bella’s flat has a great location to the city and she was also a great communicator. I would stay here again if I returned to the area!
Mary's home in the open spaces of Walnut Creek is very relaxing and was extremely comfortable to live in. Even though Mary was dealing with a lot of responsibilities, she was very communicative throughout. He neighbors are also very helpful, and with only having two low-maintenance cats to take care of, it was really like a great getaway holiday. The trails in the area are extensive and a lot of fun to explore if you are an outdoorsy type (which I am!) I would be very happy to have a chance to sit at Mary's again.
I loved staying with Nala and Simba, I adored both. They're easy to take care of and we became great friends as days went by. I loved cuddling them when they were back home from their adventures outside. The apartment was very comfortable, in proximity to supermarkets and wonderful nature. It was easy to get to the centre of town with bus 31 or come back from hiking by other means of public transport. Arlette and Felix were very kind and easy to communincate with. I hope to be back one day to watch Nala and Simba. Thank you!
Kit Kat & Twix are lovely felines with distinct characters that complement one another as well as Lauren's beautiful loft. Kit Kat took an extra day to warm up to us, but after seeing all the nice back rubs Twix was getting, Kit Kat joined in on the fun. They play a lot together and love to chase their toys down the hall. Lauren is a great communicator and host. She quickly replied to questions and helped confront challenges. Too bad our itineraries didn't allow us to meet in person. The loft is beautiful and in a great location. Great experience all-around.
This was a fantastic dog and house sit. Hannah and Soren were very welcoming and great at communicating in advance of their trip and in answering the couple questions I had during my stay. Super nice and relaxed couple. Their home is lovely and very comfortable. It was clean, interesting and cozy. Even the TV was easy to operate! I Their home is only a block from the beach, which was awesome. But the star of the show was Kuri. He is just the sweetest pup. He is a big fella but a very gentle giant. Easy to care for and friendly and loving, but not clingy. He does wake up early for his food, but then goes back to sleep for a bit (me too). He was super easy to walk on the leash - extremely well behaved and never pulled once. I may or may not have shed a tear when I left!!
