Melodi and her daughters were great house sitters! Melodi and Lauren stopped by the day before we left so we could introduce them to our dogs and orient them to the house. They were warm and friendly, and it was clear that they were willing to care for our home and pets exactly as we wanted. During our trip they sent frequent updates and pictures in which the dogs were obviously happy and well cared-for. They contacted us several times when minor issues arose to keep us in the loop and ask for guidance, which assured us that they were conscientiously caring for our home and pets. When we returned, the house, lawn, plants, pool and pets were spotless, mowed, thriving, sparkling and content. In addition to giving our home and dogs loving care, Melodi and her family gave us peace of mind so we could fully enjoy our vacation without any concerns. Five stars are not nearly enough to describe our enthusiasm for recommending Melodi and her girls as house and pet sitters.
Jeff and Ginger watched our farm while we were out of the country on a weeklong trip. Prior to the sit they were flexible and easy to communicate with. They were happy to take on the responsibilities of the farm along with the extra attention needed for our new puppy. While we were away it ended up that we had no way to check-in. Regardless, we felt comfortable knowing the animals were being well cared for. We came home to a happy animals and a wonderfully clean home. We would be thrilled to have Jeff and Ginger sit again on the farm and would absolutely recommend them as house sitters.
Linda and Rick are truly dog people. Our dogs are generally reserved around new people, but they quickly became a part of Linda and Rick’s pack. Rick and Linda were giving them hugs and massages within 24 hours of arriving. They kept us updated every day with pictures and notes. They took excellent care of our home and our pups.
