Pet Sitters in Higgins Beach, ME

This was our second time having Ciara at our home with Ellie. We had such a great experience we wanted to bring her back. My favorite things about Ciara as a sitter is her quality care of Ellie, daily communication, and how self sufficient she is. She walked our dog almost daily and sent photos updating us on Ellie's activities each day. Ellie had a little bit of a health scare and Ciara stayed right on top of everything + maintained awesome communication throughout. We live on an island and if you have, you know island living isn't always the easiest. Ciara was comfortable with our home's quirks and didn't need hand holding during her stay. Would absolutely have her back in the future.

Gabrielle was responsive, clean, and respectful house-sitter. She took care of our pitbull who was recovering from some injuries and on mediation and did a great job!

Amazing! Brenna was very attentive and asked all the questions that I missed. I was happy to see how much she cared about making sure the fur babies were all taken care of. Pets were all happy and healthy when I returned home from the trip. The house was beautiful when I came back. They cleaned everything before leaving, it was almost like no one was there at all. Communication was awesome- I really appreciated that she reached out with any questions. Also I when I needed to give them an update I got responses very quickly. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a house/pet sitter and hope they are around next time I take a trip! Thank you Brenna and Chris, you guys are great ❤️

Carissa was very responsive and my cat seemed significantly less stressed after staying with her than when I have someone come check on her while traveling. I would definitely have her come sit again! This was my first experience with homesitters and I learned a lot. I think I would have liked to hear from Carissa more during the sit but whenever I reached out I got a prompt response. My house was clean and my cat was happy - can't ask for more!

Samantha was very communicative from the start and stayed that way throughout our trip. She sent daily updates and photos which we loved seeing and it was obvious that our animals were happy and well cared for. I had what I thought would be a 2 day repair project planned, and they were so flexible and patient when it turned into a full week! Yikes! Came home to a spotless house and happy animals and would welcome this nice family back anytime.

Maryann is an amazing lady and a fabulous house/pet sitter. We had excellent communication throughout the planning for the sit and Maryann kept us informed of her plans therefore we had no concerns about anything at all prior to her arrival. We had time the evening before we went on holiday and it was so easy to explain all our household bits and pieces to Maryann. Really importantly she bonded with Jinx our cat very quickly and took time to get to know all her likes and dislikes which gave us great confidence. We felt very comfortable leaving for holidays with Jinx and the house in Maryann's care. During our holiday Maryann sent us regular updates and it was obvious that Jinx was not missing us one little bit. Maryann dealt with a wee issue with great humour and aplomb, which we appreciated very much. Our house, as we had expected, was in perfect order, just as we had left it and Jinx was in great form. We would thoroughly recommend Maryann for any petsitting and we'd be delighted if she ever wanted to return to our home in Scotland. Thank you Maryann, it was great getting to know you and thanks also for the lovely card and beautiful flowers 💐. Wishing you well with all your future travels.

Lauren and Gui were the perfect sitters for us. They are sweet, kind and a pleasure to meet. They watched over Archer with great affection and responsibility. This was our first experience with zeewoi and it couldn’t have gone any better. They arrived the night before the sit which gave us a chance to enjoy a beautiful dinner together and get to know each other, and go over details and Archer’s needs. We had a good communication during the sit, with updates and photos. It really was a pleasure to spend the evening with them and we’re grateful they were so caring towards Archer. With any luck we’ll get a chance to have them back in the future!

Annika was the absolutely perfect house/dog sitter. Our dogs loved her immediately. I can't imagine anyone taking better care of our dogs or our house. Annika is a lover of the outdoors so both dogs got the necessary exercise and the house was in perfect shape when we returned. I was just sorry we could not convince Annika to stay a few extra days with us!!!

We were so happy to have Kate as our Zeewoi. She took amazing care of our animals and home. We appreciated getting daily updates and photos which allowed us to feel reassured while away. Our four animals all have different personalities and needs and Kate went above and beyond to make them all feel special. We would highly recommend Kate for other sits as we had a wonderful experience with her.

Judith and Kimball were great zeewoi for two different stays! I was happy to have them care for my dog and cat again and both times Judith communicated very well, they came and left as planned and even tidied my house better than I left it. I had a great experience with Judith and Kimbark.

Angela was our favourite pet sitter that we’ve ever had! Angela was extremely communicative and sent us lots of pictures of our puppy. We came home to a very content 7 months old cocker spaniel, which isn’t very common! Our dog was taken on multiple walks and was even allowed to sleep in the bed. The apartment was clean when we came back and we would definitely ask Angela to sit for us again in a heartbeat!

Amanda was a fantastic sitter, who cared wonderfully for my Lenny while I was out of town for the Christmas holiday. She followed the instructions to a tee, was always communicative with updates and pictures, and overall is a lovely, kind, and helpful person that felt easy to trust with my home and my boy. She handled a slight curveball with absolute grace—my Len forgot his manners and wasn’t terribly nice to her service dog, Wally, but she took it in stride and kept both pets happy and healthy. I’d absolutely recommend Amanda to anyone in need of a sitter, she left the place spotless and was a fantastic sitter!
