Francesca and her family were excellent hosts, full of attention: they picked us up from the station, welcomed us with dinner, and were extremely helpful in answering all our questions and sharing their space, making us feel at home right from the start! Their home is a corner of true Paradise in the midst of nature, just a few minutes by car or bike from Giaveno, and an hour or so from Turin, with a thousand paths branching off to the lakes or the mountains, just a stone's throw from home! Unbelievable joy, the sense of peace and well-being from being immersed in the green of nature, enjoying the spectacle of the snow-capped mountains in the early morning and in the evening being topped by a bright starry firmament!!! And then the furry pack! They are so sweet, cute and simply spectacular! We'll miss Miko the lady with her tenacity and softness, Suerte playful and enchanting and Ginger always by my side and always enthusiastic for every ANDIAMO (LET'S GO) that opened up to new adventures! In particular I (Hanna) was moved by Suerte and Ginger always lying on or beside me, especially when I was unwell (just a little flu)! It was our first experience with hens, but everything was perfectly automated and Ginger was always by our side (sometimes Suerte too) making everything very smoothy! It was also very nice to see how the animals supported each other and enjoyed each other's company! Ginger and Suerte were very attentive with Miko and on a couple of occasions when Miko had strayed a bit from the house they followed her until we arrived! Suerte and Ginger slept with us at night, immediately making us feel like part of the pack! And a couple of evenings all four of us went for a walk on the nearby paths, very funny as a group: two humans, a dog and a cat enjoying the cool of the evening under a starry sky! Absolutely recommended! We left a little piece of our hearts there and would happily return, should the opportunity arise! Thanks again to all the human and non-human pack! :)
We had a wonderful time watching Keza and housesitting for Stephanie and Jed. Keza is super smart, cuddly and gentle and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her and connecting with her, she was always checking we were both there on walks and handled all manner of hectic situations in the town really well on one of the busier days! Stephanie and Jed's home is beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Communication with Stephanie and Jed was excellent, they very kindly gave us some organic vegetables Jed had grown, which were delicious! We wish the housesit had been longer!
Jack is a beautiful calm small dog and Kevin is a great host. Bernal heights is a beautiful neighborhood. Be sure to check out Charlie’s cafe for a wholesome talk with the owner while sipping coffee.
This is a lovely family, a wonderful home and three beautiful, well-behaved dogs. Pet parents Christopher and Bornie were excellent communicators and gracious hosts. There are two adorable labs and a Border Terrier who rules the roost. They love long walks by a pretty river and some serious playtime fetching sticks. We were also delighted to get to know their little town, which is filled with great restaurants & shops. We didn’t have a car and didn’t need one. We enjoyed our time on this house sit.

I had Tracy for the first time to house/dog sit on June 8th to June 9th. I couldn't of ask for a more sufficient person then her. Everything was left very neat and tidy. She came a little early so I was able go over anything I might have left out on my welcome list. The dogs took to her right away. Anytime that I communicated with her while I was away she responded right away reassuring me that everything was going good. I felt very very comfortable leaving her in charge of both my home and my dogs. I would highly recommend her to any one that needs a sitter.
We absolutely loved our pet sit for Erica and Dean. They were such welcoming hosts that made us feel so comfortable in their home. The home is warm and inviting and within walking distance to the beach and Yaquina Bay Lighthouse. Piggle, Joa, and Dora were a pleasure to take care of. They have different personalities and just fun be around. We’d be happy to see them again :)
